After you have collected 18,500 gems you gain access to the doors by the far end of the island. These doors lead to the faraway tower over the bridge. Inside that tower, is a super powerup flyer fireball combo. The
nice thing here is the timer is really really slow. The object is to chase down 7 saucers that have erratic flight patterns. I found it best just to take your time and follow one closely. Each saucer does have it's own very distinct and different flight route.

The one thing to remember here is the gems come flying to Spyro when you hit a saucer. There are no stray hidden gems high in the mountains or on castle tower roofs. Concentrate on one saucer and follow for as
long as you need to. Don't worry about the timer. Some saucers will go down under the mountains where
there are many passages. Be patient. They will fly straight somewhere along their flight path and there
you can peg away at them.

Make sure you check all the areas of the level. Some of the saucers are sneaking around and may go undetected until you fly at a higher altitude. If need be, you can always fly back to the tower, and through the powerup again to recharge the timer to full strength. It's fun just to explore the whole level. Make sure you don't fly too low below ground. There is a fine imaginary plane between flying or losing power, falling and dying. 20,000 gems is the upper limit of the game.
