Year Of The Dragon


Councillor George explains that the gnasty ryhnocs have kidnapped the mayor. Sypro's job is to first find all the rhynocs one by one then find out where the mayor is being held. The ryhnocs succumb to the flame easily and are no real threat.

Sunny Villa 1 Work your way straight ahead and up the ramp collecting all the jewels and knocking off all the enemies. Remember that the bigger they look, the easier they fall. Climb the stairs at the back of the town square and then jump to the roofs over to the whirlwind in the middle of the tower which takes you up to the balcony that overlooks the square. From there you can soar over to the pillars way over on the other side and then jump to the waterfall. Collect 2 hatchling eggs along the way.

Sunny Villa 2 Work your way back to the tower balcony again a second time and this time fly over to the cavern on the left. There are some gems there but you can't enter the house where Shiela The Kangaroo lives. She's not home.. Fly down and follow the cobblestone pathway to the open area where the fountain is. Clobber the ryhnoc down the stairs to the left, that opens the gate freeing Mayor Leo... Ok. This was easy! Collect all the gems and up the stairs to the egg challenges.

Sunny Villa 3 This section is so cool. Hunter teaches you how to skateboard. Maneuver the many gladiator arena ramps and for the first egg you have to run over all the little lizards... 15 in all... Some of them are hanging from overhead balloons so you have to do a trick "ramp-jump" to get them. Lots of fun. If you fall off, just go to the nearest circle with the twirling ghost image of a skateboard and you're riding again. The second egg is doing it again without falling. It's hard!! Take your time!

Sunny Villa 4 Once you've completed the 1st world and defeated Buzz, return to Sheila's house and the door will be open. Spyro has now morphed to Sheila the Kangaroo. Marco explains that his girl friend is trapped in the tower and needs Sheila to save her. Use the hop, kick and superjump as learned in Sheila's Alp training level. Superjump to all the balconies, and headbash the bullseye chests. Hop all the way up the steps of the tower to save Rapunzel. This is tricky, be careful.

SKILL POINT: Flame all the flowerpot trees in one run.
SKILL POINT: Scoring over 3200 points in the skateboard tricks challenge.

There are 6 hatchling eggs to free in this level:

VANESSA = On the stairs at the back of the level by the rhynoc.
MILES = On the back ledge at the top of the waterfall.
SANDERS = Reward for freeing Mayor Lee, opening the exit portal.
EMILY = Reward for 1st skateboard challenge catching 15 lizards
DAISY = 2nd skateboard challenge catching 15 lizards under 3 minutes.
LUCY = Morphed as Sheila, hop to the top of the tower saving Rapunzel.
