First of the Speedway levels, but this time Spyro has gems and eggs to collect. The idea of speedway levels (similar to the flight levels in previous Spyro games) is flight training. Spyro must complete the circuit before the time clock runs out.

This circuit consists of 8 rings, 8 dandelions, 8 hanging spiders, and 8 flying butterflies. It's best to do this
level in order as Sparx suggests. There are no gems lying around or hidden. To score the rings, Spyro needs to fly through the rings. To score the dandelions, Spyro has to flame the flower heads. To score the spiders, Spyro has to flame the spider bodies while they dangle from the strings. To score the butterflies, Spyro must flame them in mid-air circling the giant mushroom.

Each leg of the speedway is worth 100 gems. Completing all 4 legs scores 400 points and the first egg.
To win the butterfly race, you have to beat 6 butterflies to the finish line. Use the stars as a turbo boost
to give you extra speed through the rings. There are 3 laps to the race and the butterflies don't get out
of the way even if you flame them. Take your time and use all the turbo boosts when you can. Missing a ring
will disqualify you and end the race. Winning time under 2:10.

Hunter is hiding inside the base of a giant mushroom at the back of the mountain. Once you find him, Hunter needs to blast the 7 sheep alien spaceships before they destroy the level. Using Hunter and his rocket plane, follow a spaceship, wait for the rings to align, then fire shots at the ship. The missles are target-guided as long as the rings stay visible while you chase them. Knock them off one by one and watch out for deadly star-bursts from the back of the ships.

There are 3 hatchling eggs to free in this level:
SABINA = Reward for completing the time track under 1:20.
JOHN = Reward for finishing 1st place in tough 6-man butterfly race.
TATER = Reward for winning Hunter's dogfight knocking down 7 spaceships.
