Liz the fairy explains to Spyro that the evil cat wizards of Felinia have captured the fairy princess who is about to marry the cat prince Azreal by force. The cat wizards cast magic spells on unsuspecting rhynocs making them larger then life. The cat wizards also cause stairs and steps to move and disappear.

From the start, go to the left, climb the ladder and work along the ledge to the tunnel. Watch out for cat wizards below. Run pass the moving chess piece. Pay Moneybags the 600 gems (God I am starting to hate this guy!!) to activate the steps. Climb the stairs timing it perfectly when the stairs are entact. Charge the 3 rhynocs and jump to the narrow walkway. take out more rhynocs with flame arrows than jump to the far ledge with the moving stair blocks. Run to the very end.

The cat wizard controlling the moving block stairs is on a faraway island that Spyro can't get to, so you have to time the jumps perfectly and make it to the next ledge. From there, dodge the rocks and take out the cat wizard high on the balcony. Fly across to the castle and take out all the ryhnocs and wizards in the courtyard. Take the whirlwind to the roof, activate the draw bridge, fly to the island, and stop the wedding. Azreal and the Princess take off on his magic motorcycle despite your best efforts.

Return to the area where the moving chess piece is. Climb the stairs, walk down the ledge, then fly through the tunnel in the wall to the left. Collect the egg. Using the flame powerup, climb the stairs and take out all the cat wizards from the balcony, using the [circle button] to aim. Fly across to the rock, then to the tower, climb on top the wall, then fly across to the far tower. Skill Point. Collect another egg on the way. Don't forget to fire the rocket to blow the gem chest.

Return to the courtyard and take the whirlwind to the upper area. From there, jump to the ledge on the right and fly across to the island to Sgt.Byrd's 3rd house. Inside, Sgt. Byrd's girlfriend explains about the cat witches. The first round is taking out 5 docile cat witches. The 2nd round is taking out 10 cat witches that move around much more. The 3rd round of 10 witches that not only move around, but fire magic bursts. After the 3rd round, Gabrielle awards the egg.

In the second magic portal through the tunnel in the cave wall, Jack explains the legend of the golden goose.
This is where Spyro uses the insta sprout super grow seeds. The yellow seeds grow flowers, and the red ones
grow superbounce mushrooms. Swallow the seed and then fire them at the red circles in the ground. Once the flower or mushroom grows, climb on top, bounce from the top of the mushroom and glide to the next area.
Plan ahead which seed you use where.

Golden Goose egg tip: The very last series of red mushroom jumps seems impossible. The bouncing jump from the second mushroom to the last mushroom has to be perfect, from edge to edge, with a hover at the end. If it is not timed perfectly, Spyro will fall to the ground and will have to start the sequence over.

SKILL POINT: Flying from the balcony to the tower by the floating chess castle.
SKILL POINT: Blowing out ALL stained glass windows while fighting the cat witches.

SAKURA = Reward for rescuing the princess stopping the marriage.
BENJAMIN = Just inside the castle wall cave.
MOE = On top of one of the castle chess piece towers.
SHELLEY = Getting past the 1st section of the mushroom seed challenge.
CARMEN = Reaching the golden goose egg at the top of the tower.
ABBY = As Sgt.Byrd, defeating 3 rounds of cat witches.
