After coming up the bunker shaft from the U-boat dock, the steel ladder will break away (no going back). Sully breaks in on the radio and asks where are you? He's pinned down by Roman's men by the church. Nate says he's own his way. Before walking down the grassy slope, go around to the back of the concrete well. Look for the sparkle and pick-up treasure 59/60 Gold Ingot. Make your way down the grassy slope to the monastary.

Jump down to the monastary courtyard. We have been here before. This is the back alley near the church courtyard. If you haven't picked-up the treasure yet, look around this area for treasure 38/60 Silver Coatumundi. Slowly walk through the connecting alley to the courtyard. THIS WILL BE A MAJOR GUNFIGHT! Peek out from behind the wall on the right. Look to the 2 soldiers on the right. Sully is down at the other end of the courtyard hiding behind a retaining wall.

Load your pistol, aim and change your shoulder view to the left [L3]. Peek out and shoot both soldiers. It may take a few shots but stay with them until they're dead. Run down the steps to their bodies. Quickly scrounge around and grab the dragon sniper rifle and the grenades. A sniper up on a second floor balcony will be trying to lock-on to you. Run back up the steps and then hide behind the wall on the right in the alley, before he can get a clean shot on you.

Load the dragon rifle and find the sniper up on the second floor balcony on the right. Stay out of his laser range and pick him off the balcony. Now quickly retreat down the alley to the back. Keep the sniper rifle loaded and watch for the soldiers coming in from the left. There are 2 soldiers and a safari guy with an RPG. Wait til they hide behind a retaining wall and then pick them off with the sniper rifle. Be careful. You only have 7 bullets. Keep 1 bullet no matter what.

Run back into the courtyard to the right. Go halfway down and hide behind a stone pillar by the steps (near to where Sully is hiding). Another sniper is up on a really high balcony in the bell tower behind you. He's trying to lock-on to you. You have to stay behind the brick pillar. Get a sight-line on the sniper and aim with the scope on the balcony. Pick him off with 1 shot. Go up the steps and grab the M4 rifle leaning up against the big tree. Go meet up with Sully!

Don't dwell around Sully for long. Pick-up another dragon sniper rifle and hide behind the back pillar. A 3rd sniper will be up in one of the bell tower baclonies. Get a sight-line on him and peg him with 1 shot. Watch for 3 soldiers coming up on the right from the library area. If you can, peg each one as they run up behind a retaining wall near by. Sully will take shots at them as well, holding them in place for a second or 2. Take them down as they jump out.

Once they are gone, another group of soldiers will run in from the alleyway where you first entered. Run back along the wall near to Sully. Take cover behind the stone pillar nearest to him. There's another safari hat mercenary with an RPG on the same balcony where a sniper was earlier. Take him out first with your pistol or rifle. Pick up the dragon sniper rifle and ammo near Sully. Peg the rest of the soldiers. Sully says we have to get through the church.

Walk across the courtyard, finding as much ammo as you can. Walk up the steps of the church and open the giant doors. When you get inside the church, duck behind a pillar. There are 3 snipers on the high catwalks with laser sights. Look after the ground troops first. Load your pistol and take down the soldiers running in from the right. As they pop up from the pews, shoot them. Watch out for grenades! They'll do anything to move you away from the pillar.

Roll across the center aisle to the column on the left. Find the dragon sniper rifle. Peek out from behind the column and find the sniper on the upper catwalk. Peg him with 1 shot. Keep the sniper rifle loaded. Change the shoulder view to the left [R3] and swing to the other side of the column. Look for another sniper on the upper catwalk on the other side of the church. Peg him with 1 shot. There's a 3rd sniper on a close catwalk. Peg him as well.

More of Navarro's men run in from the back of the church. They come down the right side. Sully tries to hold them down, but only for a second. There's another safari guy with an RPG. This time, it's sweet revenge. He's distracted by Sully, as you scope him and blow him away. Use up the sniper bullets on any of the soldiers that are far away or have lots of grenades. Roll across the aisle again and grab the RPG MP7 that you just made available. It's fully loaded!

Find the sniper along the back wall high above the altar. Shoot a rocket grenade. The fireball explosion will blow him off the balcony. There's one more sniper on the left. Blow him away. More soldiers run in from the left. Use up the RPG grenades as they try to hide for cover. HA! If only they knew? Close is good enough for a rocket grenade! Once it's empty, go back and grab a SAS-12 shotgun. Work your way to the altar of the church. More bad news behind you!

Another 6 soldiers run in through the entrance from the courtyard and 2 more snipers come out along the back upper balcony. You're pinned down again, and these guys are moving up quickly! Hide behind a column by the altar and peek out to the middle aisle. Peg the soldiers one at a time as they run up the rows of pews. Allow them to get relatively close. You'll have a better chance of finishing them off with 1 blast (2 at most). Once they're down, focus on the snipers.

Drop the shotgun and quickly find an M4 rifle. Luckily there was one nearby? Be careful not to get pinned by a laser. Use the roll move (in cover mode) to avoid a lock-on. Duck behind the column again and change to the left shoulder view. Pick-off the sniper on the far left. It may take 10 shots but you have lots of ammo. Just stay with him til he dies and falls off. Change shoulder view and start shooting the other sniper. He'll eventually die with enough bullets.

Once all the soldiers are dead Sully will walk up the middle aisle and yell to Nate "That was fun! Let's Go! We've got no time to waste. They've got Elena with them". Sully walks up to the high altar with all the candles. At the altar, there's a long table. Approach the table. Sully and Nate push the table along the floor, revealing a pit in the floor. They look down and see darkness. Sully jumps down the hole. CHAPTER ENDS.
