Uncharted Drake's Fortune Walkthrough FAQ Strategy Guide PS3
Uncharted

Unwelcome Guests

Guests 1 This chapter starts with a gunfight in the generator room. Creatures come crawling out of the pipes. You won't have time to aim and shoot. Shoot from the hip [just R1] and move around. You'll have to kill at least 5-6 of them before you'll have a clear path to the first open door on the left. There's lots of ammo on the floor so load up when you get a chance. The ONLY PROBLEM is the ammo magazine reload time with the rifle. It's painfully slow so be aware.

Guests 2 Shoot your way to the lit doorway on the left. Run down the hallway and to the left. There's a lone creature at the end who'll make a charge at you. Take him down with your rifle (I had to reload: bad timing!) Keep shooting til you know he's dead. Climb up the ledge at the back eventhough you hear howls coming up behind you. The creatures will retreat back into the generator room. Load up on ammo even the grenades.

Guests 3 Walk up to the fusebox on the wall and pull the switch [triangle]. A cutaway scene shows a door in the generator room opening. A couple of creatures come scurrying through the newly opened door. Drop back down from the ledge and slowly walk back up the hallway. As you get closer to the corner, 3-4 creatures will come running around the corner. Unload your rifle 20-30 shots and spray the area. Make sure they're all dead.

Guests 4 Run back into the generator room. You'll have to confront 5-6 more creatures as they try to block you from going through the other door. Find the opened door on the other side of the room and run down the hallway. Like before, there's a creature waiting to attack around the corner. Take him down, firing from the hip, and jump up the ledge along the back wall. Pull the second fuse. A door with red light above it, opens.

Guests 5 Drop down from the ledge and manually reload your rifle ammo [R2]. Walk down the hallway and wait for the creatures to swarm. Spray them with bullets from the hip and run back into the generator room. Find the opened door. [short movie sequence] Nate runs through the door and slams the door shut and locks it behind him. Walk down the dimly lit hallways now sparking from the electricity being turned on. Find the small door and walk into the infirmary.

Guests 6 [movie sequence begins] Nate goes to the far wall and watches an old black & white movie playing from a projector. It shows British soldiers turning into raving lunatics being terrorized by something.. but what? He looks down at the table and sees a note and a photo of the legendary statue of El Dorado. What is going on? He reads the tattered note from Sir Francis Drake.

Guests 7 The note reads.. My end is near. The devils hunt for me in the darkness. The gold of El Dorado bears a terrible curse. Spaniards have unleashed hell, and come as demons. My men have all been murdered. It's up to me now. No ship will depart this island. I destroyed them all and drowned the cursed city. Such great evil can never be allowed to leave these shores. God have mercy on this unholy place. Sir Francis Drake. MY GOD!

Guests 8 As the movie ends, Nate hears more howls coming from the pipes. More creatures! Move around the room and watch for creatures coming down from the ceiling and from the pipes and doorway. Shoot from the hip. Spray from left to right (strafe mode). Collect ammo as you need it and manually reload your rifle [R2] when you get a break between confrontations. When all goes quiet, collect all the ammo you can and approach the door with the wheel, by the light [X].

Guests 9 Interact with the wheel [triangle]. Turn it with the left analog stick. Go down the hallway out to the dock area. Nate enters another control room. [movie sequence] Roman, Navarro and 3 men walk into the other control room on the far side. AH SHIT! Elena's a hostage. Can you hear me in there? I'm sorry for her interruption. I want to thank you for leading us to El Dorado. By the way, we'll borrow Ms Fisher for awhile to discourage you from trying anything creative.

Guests 10 2 soldiers are running up the stairs on the left. Duck behind the crates across from the stairs. Wait for one soldier to run into the room. Take him out with your rifle. Pick-up the grendaes on the crates. Lob a grenade at the top of the stairs. You may get lucky and kill him with the blast. Get up and walk to the right. If the soldier is still hiding behind the gate, wait for him to peek out and take him down with the M4 rifle or pistol. Look down the stairs. Watch for another soldier.

Guests 11 He will be lurking at the bottom of the stairs. Use your pistol and shoot him as he ducks in and out on the landing. 2 more soldiers are patrolling in the room below. As you walk down the stairs, they will start shooting a creature coming out from a pipe. While they're distracted, shoot both soldiers. Hopefully the creature has died in the crossfire. Walk down the stairs to the bottom. Collect the ammo and walk out to the dock area on the left. Stay covered behind the left wall.

Guests 12 Watch for the sniper! He's up in the control room on the other side of the dock. Watch for his red laser. Don't let him lock-on. From behind the brick wall, peek out and aim on the sniper with your pistol (even from this distance). You may have to use 5-6 shots, but that's ok. Once the sniper dies, walk out to the dock. Go to the left. Load your rifle before you get to far. Walk to the left of the crates along the high wall. Watch for 2 creatures running towards you.

Guests 13 Peg them with your rifle as you see them. Load up with ammo along the left wall. Peek around the corner to the left into the next corridor. There MAY be a soldier waiting. Walk down the corridor. 2 more creatures will come running towards you. Take care of business. Manually reload your rifle and walk to the end. Go left. Look up the dark metal stairs to the landing. A soldier is fighting off 2 creatures. DON'T HELP HIM! If you can see him, take him out while he's distracted.

Guests 14 If the creatures are still alive, they will run away down the stairs towards the warehouse. Go up the stairs. Walk behind the crates. Pick-up the dragon sniper rifle. Use the laser sight and pick-off a few creatures in the warehouse area. Because they are harder to bring down, and the sniper rifle is powerful enough to kill ANYTHING with 1 shot, I chose creatures over soldiers. Use up the sniper rifle then pick-up your M4 rifle again and fill up on grenades.

Guests 15 Walk down the metal stairs to the warehouse. More creatures will start to show up from the other side of the warehouse. Good news is that there are still soldiers around also shooting at them (and not you for the time being). Let them help you! Use your M4 and peg anyone that comes close to you. Take a position along the right wall, them move up to the crates. Peg the soldiers in among the crates ahead. There will be at least 3-4 and maybe 2-3 creatures.

Guests 16 Peek out from behind the crate and look down the gap between the crates. Change your shoulder view to stay out of target range. Peg the soldiers as they run up from the other side of the dock. Use up your M4 rifle ammo first. If you go empty, run back to the dark area and pick up the AK-47 rifle left behind, or you can use your pistol. You may even want to toss a grenade or 2, over the stacks of crates. You may get lucky? Don't move too far forward.

Guests 17 There's another sniper with red laser sights, up in the control room. He'll see you as you move in among the crates in the sunlit dock area. Duck behind a crate that gives you a peek at the control room but out of his laser sight. Like before, use your pistol. You may have to use 5-6 shots but that's ok. He's too good a shot to take a chance. After he goes down, you'll be free to roam around the area. Pick-up ammo and srounge for more grenades. Jump up on a crate.

Guests 18 Look to the double stack of crates along the back wall [X]. Leap across to the stack and climb up to the top. Look for the sparkle and pick-up treasure 58/60 Golden Seadragon Pendant. Jump back down and work your way to the other side of the dock. 2 more creatures crawl out from the pipes. Shoot from the hip with your rifle. Go down the left loading dock platform. Don't bother with the dragon sniper rifle. Kinda late?

Guests 19 As you walk up the platform, 2 more creatures will crawl out from the pipes ahead. Don't get caught being blinded by the sunlight. Stay along the left side of the wall. Shoot from the hip and take care of business. This will be the last you see of them for awhile. Climb up and over the crates and over the retaining wall. Go through the gap in the wall on the left. Climb the ladder up to the grassy area. CHAPTER ENDS.

Guests 20 ENJOY THE SCENERY! There are many scenic points during the game that I really took in. I just looked around and studied the extras that the software developers put into this. One example is this German U-boat. Just look over the side of the dock. The U-boat has been recreated with great detail, including the water lapping against a rusty hull, and the sun gleaming off the surface. And you may not have noticed it!
