Walk down the hallway and from the terrace safety-drop down to the lower courtyard. Walk through the open doors to the library at the end. [move sequence begins] Elena and Jake enter the dimly-lit chart room where there's a library of ship manifests on the bookshelves. There still in really good shape. Jake finds an old cargo manifest from the Esparanza. In it, tales of the treasure of El Dorado. It came from Peru to this island!

It's the last entry in the book? Elena eyes Nate's ring dangling from his neck. Nate tells her he inherited it from Sir Francis Drake himself. The inscription reads "Sic Parvis Magna" meaning "greatness from small beginnings". Funny thing, the date on the ring is 1 day after he supposedly died? The numbers engraved on the inside of the ring are co-ordinates for his coffin that they found earlier. BUT! we're going for that boat!

From the library, walk back out to the courtyard and up the long flight of stairs. Draw your weapon before reaching the top. There's a big guy patrolling the room. Shoot him quickly before he sees you (headshot). Men in the next room yell to each other and start to open fire as soon as they hear your gunfire. Run up to the room and take cover behind the doorway on the left. Elena will be on the right. Peek out from behind the wall and shoot the guys on the stairs.

Go in the doorway and peek around the corner to the left. There are 4 mercenaries behind the baracades on the lower level, and 2 snipers up top on the terrace with the plants. Shot the guys up top first. Use grenades first on the guys behind the floor baracades. It will flush them out from behind cover, where you can get a few good clean shots on them. Elena will help soften them up for you. Run up the stairs on the right to the wooden platform. Look in the corner.

[1] In the corner pick-up treasure 31/60 Silver Belt Buckle. Along the right railing, find more ammo for your AK-47 and more grenades. Walk to the end of the wooden floor. Peek around the corner to the left. There's a safari guy with an RPG at the top of the stairs on the right. Pick him off with the AK-47 before he shoots you with a rocket grenade. Change your shoulder view and peek around the corner to the left [2] down the upper hallway. Kill the waiting mercenary.

Walk along the upper hall and then down the stairs on the right. Walk all the way down to the lower floor level. Elena is down there. Scrounge around for ammo from all the bodies and then walk up the stairs to the chain winch on the landing. Pull the chain winch and open the iron gate on the right. Elena will run up the stairs and through the gate. Follow her up the stairs and out onto the balcony. (don't bother picking up the M79 RPG laying on the stairs).

[movie sequence] Elena and Nate walk to the balcony railing and look out over the harbor. Elena doesn't see the getaway boat anywhere, but Nate sees it on the other side of the harbor. Elena wants to stay right where she is and get some more footage. Nate is suspicious and wonders what she's up to? Elena reassures Nate that she'll be safe and suggests he go get the boat and pick-up her up on the way back.

Go to the wrought iron doors to the left on the balcony. Load any weapon and shoot-out the padlock. Go up to the door and kick it down. Jump to the next balcony. [action sequence] The balcony starts to crumble under Nate's weight. He slides down the balcony as it breaks away from the wall. Jump and grab the balcony before it breaks away. Pull up onto the next balcony. Load your AK-47 and walk to the window.
Stay covered behind the wall. Peek out and look over to the other side of the inside of the warehouse. Behind the stone columns are more mercenaires. Pick 'em off as they start to shoot at you. There's a safari guy with an RPG that's a really good shot (he could blow you away off the balcony). Take him down right away the moment you see him come out from behind a column. Jump across the next set of balconies and take down any remaining enemies inside the building.
From the last balcony, it look like a dead-end. Look to the wrought iron doors ahead. Shoot-out the padlock on the doors. The doors break away and fall below, leaving an open arch. Take a running jump to the door and grab the edge. Pull up inside the small terrace. Pull the chain winch to open the iron gate. Walk inside the next big circular domed rotunda. CHAPTER ENDS.
