[movie sequence] Lara approaches the temple and pulls out her video camera. As she films she comments on how old these ruins are and how the statue of Shiva & Kali hold the key. They must be guarding a deeper secret. Pull the lever on the elevator platform. It's jammed. The stay cables are locked in place. Our job. Free the cables so we can use the elevator to get to the courtyard. |

Go down the cooridor to the right. At the end, find the hole in the railing. Crouch through the hole and safety drop from the ledge. Safety drop to the lower terrace. Find the ornamental pole on the floor. Pick-up it up and insert the pole into the nearby column. Jump and grab the pole. Jump up on top of the pole and leap to the ledge on the far column. Jump to the next column then to the left wall. |

Rock climb to the right along the wall then to the back. Jump to the top of the pillar. Jump to the top of next pillar. Stay balanced. Leap to the far balcony. Pull up. To the right pick-up the health potion urn. Go to the cable mechanism. Jump up and grab the horizontal pole. Pull the pole from the cable buckle [triangle]. The cable releases. Reinsert the pole into the cable hold. Go back to the hole in the railing and safety drop to the lower terrace. Crouch through the rail opening at the back. |

Look for the vase on the small terrace. Kick the vase for another treasure. Look above you on the left, for the golden ring. Use your grapple. With the grapple attached, run and swing across to the other side of the courtyard. Load your pistols. Shoot down the flying bats as they swoop in from the upper terrace. I counted 6 in all. The only way out is along the back wall to the left. |

Climb the rock outcrops on the wall. Go to the right, then jump up and continue to the left. Pull up through the opening in the railing. Go around to the right to the upper terrace. Jump to the facade hanging out over the courtyard. This looks really scarey but it's the only way. With yout feet dangling, shimy to the right around the corner. Pull up and climb around the rock outcrop to the other side. |

Shimy around all the way to the back of the facade. Jump up and pull up to the ledge up top. Look for the cable mechanism. Use your grapple and pull the ring out [triangle] from the cable buckle. The other cable snaps free. Now we have to find our way back to the upper terrace where we first came in so we can use the elevator to get down to the courtyard. Jump to the point of the first pillar. |

Jump to the broken beam on the next pillar. Drop down on the right side of the beam. Shimy to the right aroud the ledge on the pillar to the beam on the other side. Pull up on top of the beam. Walk out to the end. Hold your balance and jump to the ledge on the far wall. Shimy to the left and pull up through the hole in the stone railing. We're now back at the entrance of the terraces. Walk around to the wooden elevator lift. |

Pull the lever. [cut scene] Lara starts to descend down the elevator held by the cables. Things go worng in a hurry. The platform hits a snag on the way down and starts to break apart. Use your adrenalin power and grapple the gold ring [square] on the wall. Lara hangs on the wall as the platorm crashes at the bottom. Repel down the wall [triangle] to the end of your cable. |

Release from the grapple [circle] and drop down to the broken elevator platform. Walk out to the temple courtyard. Load your shotgun or assault rifle. Walk up to the small pedestal with the crystal. GET READY! 2 red naga lizards come scurrying in from the hallways. Watch for the red targets and shoot them. Dodge their attacks because they are fast. Now watch for 2 green naga lizards. They spit poison so be careful. |

There are 2 statues attached to rails in the floor. They are holding reflective mirror fans. They are meant to capture light? We have to find a way to send the light down to these statues then focus the light through the crystal. Explore the halls on either side of the courtyard. Doesn't matter which one. They both end up at the same place. Watch for a green naga inside the entrance. |

Walk down the steps to the bottom. Go to the middle of the hallway and turn down the lower hallway. At the bottom, is another small room with a deep pit and 2 lion statues. Use your grapple and connect to the ring on the cobra statue. Jump and repel down the wall of the pit. Extend your grapple cable and release at the bottom. We're now inside an older corridor with Norse markings.
