Tomb Raider 4
Last Revelation
Valley of the Kings

Out in the open again, after escaping from the tomb with the sacred amulet, Lara finds herself at gun-point from the escort that walked her through the tomb. Of course, she doesn't give it to him. Reading the inscription on the amulet causes the earth to shake and the skies to rumble. Something is happening in the tomb.

Valley 1 Most of the military action happens right at the opening arena. Several security guards rush you and peg shots at you or slice you with knives. I chose to use the shotgun. 2 blasts and they're toast. Lots of ammo scattered all over the place, including some dark alcoves off to the sides. One interesting thing you pick-up, is a set of ignition keys for the blue jeep parked over in the corner.

Valley 2 Driving the jeep is great fun. Traverse the track like you would drive a normal car. Watch the slopes, go up full throttle. There are security guards along the way that you can either run over, or get out and shoot them with pistols or my favorite, the shotgun. The course gets a little trickey at the end, where you have to maneuver over some very narrow bridges, but they are certainly passable. The level ends driving down a narrow hall. Nothing dramatic.

Stopping at various points along the jeep track, I noticed there are ledges and passageways that you can walk through and climb, along the entire course, bypassing some of the steep slopes and unwalkable terrain. We may need to know that later... I've got a feeling we'll have to walk this way back to the base camp.
