Welcome to the Great Pyramids. Down the long road there are 2 guards waiting. Take care of business. Notice the large looming DO NOT ENTER doors. One of the guards drops a silver key which opens the large metal door.

In the first area, there are 2 guards which come out from the ledges. One either side of the center walk-way, there are deep pits and switches against both walls. Throw both switches to open the far door. Out comes one of Von Croy's red assassins. Take him out. Enter the pit area. There is one to the right and to the left. Seems impossible to cross but the one has a ledge which is reachable on the far side. Drop down through the second pit and shoot the guard by the far door using your revolver and laser sight. Jump at a diagonal across the pit.

Knock down the door. Enter the supply room. Shoot all the crates, grab the ammo. The shelves on the right can be pulled away revealing a grate covering a crawlway. Crouch down and blow away the grate. crawl through to the adjoining room. Take care of the guard. Move the shelves to reveal a metal blade. Push the button in the corner to open the garage door. There are 2 more guards outside. Make your way back to the left over 2 pits, to the front of the sphinx between the 2 paws. There is an inscription on the white stone right by the base of the sphyinx.

Lara takes a moment to read the testament of the ancient monument. Perhaps a hope that maybe Divine intervention will overpower Seth, should the Sphinx stay intact and free of sand. Continuing on to the north, another pit to cross. Use the right ledges then wait for 2 assassins to arrive. Climb up out of the pit then turn around and take them out with 3 poison arrows each. Shoot the boxes, grab the handle and return to the pit. This time, from the left ledge, jump to the right ledge, then to the triangle ledge in the corner by the steel door.

Combine the handle with the metal blade to make a shovel. Return to the paws of the Sphinx and start digging.
Lara uncovers quite a hole which leads down between the legs. Run down the passage. LEVEL ENDS.
