This is the 3rd level in the ruins and the largest resevoir of water so far. Lakes and ponds everywhere. And we have new friends.. crocodiles... and they're fast. But of course, Lara has her shot-gun and enjoys "fishing" from the comfort and safety of being on-shore. She can leisurely take shots while they're swimming.

OK.. You've now seen 2 or 3 crocodiles and you wonder.. They want me to go in the water!? This is where the fear factor comes in. Needless to say, you'll feel a little vulnerable, not knowing if, and when, you're going to be attacked, especially when you're in the water unable to draw weapons. So get on with the search and swim your way through all the ponds. There are goodies scattered all over. You can always exit by the ramp to save your game should your anxiety level go up. Dont' go exploring too far. There are crocodiles on the other side.

Before you swim past the arch, off to the left [north] of the ramp, is a crawl-way high up. This leads to a hallway and yet another crawlway to a large courtyard with 2 obelisks. There are 3 med-packs, a rectangular pool, but nothing much else. At least not yet. Backtrack to the main area. In the lake area, a massive pool surrounds the main central structure. In the south-east corner, is a deep well-shaft. Along the south wall, is another room, which is a very deep vault. Swim past the gate, note the 2 crocs inside. Take out 2 more crocs on the beach.

Inside the vault chamber are two glowing ropes. You have to shimmy up, then back-flip to the shorter rope by the wall. Climb up through the ledge and into the other room. Pull the chain there. The gate where you saw the crocs, now opens to the center chamber. Drop all the way down to the pool in the vault and swim out the passageway and then up the deep well. Get out quickly and kill the crocs that you released. The inner chamber has an upside-down pull mechanism that you can grab from under the center platform while swimming. Note the 2 trapdoors below.

Go through the opening in the bottom, open the door, and swim through the maze of passages to get to the mirrored wall room. You will need all your air just to get here. There is a hidden air-pocket not too far to the right of the mirror room. What you see in the mirror helps you. Note that in the ceiling of the mirror room is a well-camoflauged exit. It's clearly visible in the mirror. Surface, grab the 2nd canopic jar, pull the switch, then return to the main chamber. Swim through the other canal door and the level ends.
