After finishing all the rooms in the catacombs, Lara walks up the stairs and enters the Temple Of Poseidon. This is not a large level and has 4 hallways which all end at a central pit. The object is to use all 4 trident artifacts to get the water flowing from all directions and to fill the pit with water so you can swim.

At the end of each hallway, near the big face statues, there are ladders or ledges to reach the Neptune statue rooms. There are 4 Neptune statues that go with each of the 4 faces. Each Neptune statue is surrounded by a small pool of water. Jump to the statue and use the trident. Lara will then climb the statue, place the trident artifact on top of the staff, which will then activate the face statues below to releasing water into the canals. These canals all flow to the central concourse. All 4 canals must have flowing water.

At the end of the west hallway, is a flame tile on the floor that you have to jump over to grab the ledge to the crawlway. The crawlway leads to the room with the Neptune statue. Don't go near the flame tile. Once you step on it, Lara will be torched. Down the east hallway, on the north side, is a climbable wall at the corner that leads way up to another Neptune room. Once you activate this trident and return to the floor, a ghost spirit appears that can only be extinguished by the eagle pedestal you passed-by at the entrance.

The north and south areas both have column rooms you have to navigate through to get to the face statue hallways. Both rooms have skeletons lurking around. Dispose of them with the explosive arrows and proceed to the Neptune rooms. There are goodies, so explore every little crawlway and alcove. All the skeletons in the rooms have to be disposed. Once completed, jump into the water-pit and swim through the opening down to the pillar room. Immediately upon dropping down to the room floor, 2 ghost spirits will attack you.

Shoot either one of the 2 vases to reveal a golden eagle pedestal. Once the elementals are zapped, press the face tile on one of the walls next to the pedestal. This opens a trapdoor which leads down several dark passageways back to the Coastal Ruins level. You will exit near the tide pool area. Open the gate with the crowbar and then return back into the Temple. In the far brightly-lit room, is a chest against the wall that has the left gauntlet artifact. This open 2 doors on the back wall. Go down the hallway. LEVEL ENDS. Enter the lost library.
