Blades are everywhere. Not only do they jump out at you, but they're huge and kill you instantly.
You have to be smart. Watch the cycle of blades very closely and time your jump exactly at the
time when the blades retract back into the stars.. Any gold surface with a star pattern on the wall or floor,
is a sure-fire blade trap.

Down the first slope grab the "Hand Of Orion" star below you and immediately jump left to the stairs. You will hear the blades start behind you. Grab the ammo pack that opens the gate and go down the 3 hallways jumping through each timed blade trap. At the ledge, use the hand of orion key to activate the wheel blades. Jump and hop over the wheel blades to get to the far ledge. You may lose some health but you can restore yourself later. Enter the sarcpophagus room but DO NOT grab the amulet from Horus's tomb, just yet. You will lose access to secrets.

Go past the library down the hall to the other statue room. In the back left corner is a secret underground passage. Drop down to get med-packs and ammo. Now come back, jump on Horus and get the amulet. Go back to the statue room and notice the statue pedestal has sunk and is now at ground level. Push and pull the statue over to the far tile with the red circle. A secret doorway now appears behind one of the mummies. Lure the 2 mummies out (you can't kill them) and then run through the newly opened passage behind the sarcophagus.

In the large cave area, make your way up the dark path on the far left. Watch for 2 dogs. Off to the right is a ladder between 2 lit statues. Climb and shoot the vases. Grab the med-packs and the Golden Serpent artifact, avoid the awakened mummies and climb up through the crawlway. Sprint through the next room to avoid the spikes and climb out on the far left opening. Return to the cave area, go over the wooden suspension bridge and kill the 2 dogs in the stair-hall. Drop through the floor at the top of the stairs on the left, You now enter the octagonal chamber.

Navigating the chamber took forever to figure out. Once you get to the lever and open the grate, pull the lever in the other room and the chamber rotates!! Now go back and navigate in a new dimension and find your way to the room with the chain. Pull the chain and the octagonal room rotates again. Go back, use the Hand of Sirus artifact to get the Scarab artifact. Now work back to the big cave and the room with the 2 receptacles. Watch-out for dogs coming out of the other rooms. Use the Scarab and Serpent artifacts in the receptacles and the room fills with sand. Avoid the mummy. Look for the tunnel with the light. Level ends.
