Lara enters the large room (now an arena). Amanda is up in a glass-enclosed control room. Lara again apologizes for leaving Amanda back in Peru, and wants to rekindle their friendship and work together with Amanda to solve this mystery. Amanda wants nothing to do with Lara. She has discovered a few things on her own while she was left for dead in Peru.

Remember that nasty octopus creature that killed all of their friends back in Peru? Well Amanda has found a way to control it and with the power of the amulet around her neck, has trained it very well. Lara is absolutely horrifed and can't believe Amanda has turned on her like this. Amanda unleashes the creature and lara is left to defend herself.

The objective of this boss battle is to first turn on all 4 power switches. They are located on 4 opposite wall positions. Run as fast as you can away from the entity. Don't bother trying to shoot it. Bullets don't work. Watch for the red energy bursts that the entity hurls at Lara. Pull each switch in sequence. Once done, run to the tesla turret gun in the middle of the room. Quickly push each magento against the wall to power it up.

Once all 4 magnetos are in place and the power grid in connected, jump off the turret gun and use the grapple to target the cage. [movie sequence begins] Lara pulls a sword fragment from the forcefield and catches it in her hand. Amanda sees this and walks out of the control room. The room starts to shake and the glass floor breaks. Lara escapes.
