[movie sequence] Rutland asks Lara if she has found the Ghalali Key. You know. The artifact that holds the shard fragments of the sword together? Lara plays dumb then asks about Amanda. Rutland plays dumb? Rutland comments about her father. Rutland says he's been getting to know his sword fragment, then flies off to a stone balcony. |

This is going to be a boss fight. Rutland will regenrate his health every time he jumps to an overhead stone balcony. The trick is to knock down all 4 stone balconies so he CAN'T regenerate. Use your pistols first. Dodge Rutland's attacks and hand grenades. When he gets weak, he'll jump to a balcony. While he does, get close to any balcony. Look for the explodable triangle target in the middle. Quickly, shoot out the target. |

Use the grapple and quickly pull the support stone (see arrows in photo) away from the balcony. The balcony will come crashing down. Avoid Rutland's attacks again. When he goes up to the next balcony, repeat the explodable target and grapple sequence. Pull down all 4 balconies. Now load the assault rifle. Shoot away. Run backwards away from Rutland as he tries to swipe his sword or throws grenades at you. He can't recharge his health now, so wear him down! |

Watch Rutland's health meter on the right. He'll eventually succumb to your shooting rampage. [movie sequence begins] Rutland is doubled over in defeat, on the floor. Lara takes the sword fragment. She wonders whether the Ghalali Key does in fact bind all the pieces together. Rutland says that Amanda is at Croft Manor right now trying to find out? |

[movie sequece continues] Lara walks out of the room and reminds Rutland that they better not cross paths again or it would be most unfortunate. In the next scene, Lara is racing away on her Ducati. She finally patches in to Zip and Allister. Amanda was at the mansion, but she got nothing. They tracked her to Russia. Lara likes things when they're cold! |
