After finishing off Takamoto in Japan, retrieving the first sword fragment, Lara enjoys a helicopter ride out of the city. Zip sends word that Rutland has been spotted in an ancient temple in Ghana. Lara is on the hunt! |

Lara starts off in Africa by walking down a narrow cliff path to the high ledge above the beautiful Angel Falls. The view is spectacular. Unfortunately it's marred by a few "termites" from Rutland's gang. From the cliff ledge, jump off the cliff and do a beautiful swan dive [circle] into the lake. NO harm and no health loss. Quickly surface and tread water near the center island. look in the water for rewards. You should see 2 bronze and 1 silver. |

Swim underwater and go get bronze reward 1/5 by the falls. Swim up and surface to recharge your air supply. Paddle across the water [triangle] to the other side near the cliff. Dive down and get bronze reward 2/5. The silver reward is under the island, but we can't get to it because of the water currents. |

Climb out on the center island. Go to the right side and climb the 2 stone blocks. From the top stone block jump left and grab the dangling rope. The force of Lara's wieght pulls the rope down. Jump down from the rope. Walk back a few steps. Face the bridge section. Use the grapple and pull down on the bridge section. [movie sequence begins] The mechanical wheels start to turn and the bridge lowers into place. The waterfalls part. |

[movie sequence continues] The waterfall parts in grand fashion revealing the entrance and facade of a large temple. As Lara walks over the bridge she sees Rutland up top. She wants to talk with Rutland down on the bridge, but he says she would have to shoot him first. He's got things to do and walks away. |

Before going inside the temple, let's get that reward first. Jump back in the water off the island. Look down through the water and see the glimmer of the reward. Now dive directly down and swim up the tunnel. Pick-up silver reward 1/4. Swim back up to the surface and jump to the island. Now go over the bridge and enter the temple. Save game at checkpoint. |
