Tomb Raider Legend

King Arthur

King Arthurs Tomb 1 Lara is trapped inside an area that has a problem. The only way out is to find some thing that will hold down the pressure pad which releases the gate at the back of the cave. To the left, an open pool of water. Along the back walls, a mosoleum? Swim across the water and climb out on the right floor. Along the back wall, the glow of a reward, but its behind an iron grate. The bottom of the chandelier has a grapple point. Use the grapple and pull on the chandelier.

King Arthurs Tomb 2 You may have to swing the chandelier a couple of times, but eventually it will crash against the wall and fall apart. The iron grate hiding the reward is also gone. Use the grapple and pull bronze reward 7/9. Now face the other wall across the water. There's another chandelier. Use the grapple and pull on the chandelier. You want to be aligned so you will break the iron grate holding the coffin in the wall. Swing the chandelier until it breaks.

King Arthurs Tomb 3 The coffin in the wall is now exposed. It's shiny as well. Use the grapple and pull the coffin into the water. It will float to the right side of the pool. Jump onto the coffin. Look for the wall lanterns. They are grapple points. Use the grapple and pull on the line. You will drag the coffin across the water. Once you're right under the lantern on the right wall, release the grapple. Find the lantern on the wall. Catch the lantern before you float back.

King Arthurs Tomb 4 Pull on the grapple line and move the coffin right to the archway into the cave. Release the grapple line and quickly jump off. Turn around and use the grapple to latch-on to the coffin. Pull it out of the water and then pull it onto the pressure pad. Allister chimes in and says (jokingly) to Lara that even when dead, a knight always has a higher purpose. The iron gate at the end of the cave is now open. Walk through the gate and down the tunnels.

King Arthurs Tomb 5 Walk over the floor grate and look down. There's a glow of a reward right below you. Jump in the water. Swim into the chamber (use triangle to fight the current). Swim down and grab bronze reward 8/9. Now swim out to the channel. Let the current take you all the way to the end. Jump on to the coffin floating in the water. The current is too strong to swim. Use the grapple and latch-on to the wall lanterns. Pull on the line.

King Arthurs Tomb 6 Pull you and the coffin all the way back up the channel. You'll probably have to use the lantern along the left wall AND the far lantern on the right wall. Let the coffin drift, then jump to the archway in the wall on the left (over the iron grate). Jump in the water. Swim down the channel then around the corner to the left. Swim to the left again and find the gold lever. Pull the underwater lever. The iron grate opens beside you.

King Arthurs Tomb 7 The floating coffin will also drift down the channel. Climb onto the coffin. Let it drift to the first crossway. Look right. Find the lantern at the end of the channel and quickly grapple it. Pull in the line to the very end. Jump off the coffin and grab silver reward 4/5. Quickly jump back on the coffin and pull on the lantern with the grapple again. Release the grapple, turn around and find the wall lantern down the cross channel. Pull the coffin past it.

King Arthurs Tomb 8 Jump to the archway above the iron grate and then jump into the rushing water. [movie sequence begins] Lara floats down the stream and plunges over a set of waterfalls into a huge lake. Lara gets her bearings. Swim down the length of the lake and climb out on shore. Walk back along the stone bridge. Lara talks to Allister and Zip. This place is beautiful. Hidden from the world. Amazing place to pay tribute to King Arthur. Wonder what's inside?

HINT: There's strange but muffled noises coming from somewhere inside this huge cave (or from deep inside the lake). It's very disturbing and sounds like the dull groans of a very large creature. Keep that in mind.

King Arthurs Tomb 9 The front door to the castle is locked. To the left there's a climbable wall. The 2 swingpole lanterns are movable. Use the grapple and pull the far right lantern to face the lake. Go to the left swingpole lantern. Go behind it and pull the lantern so it faces the left wall (parallel to the front entrance wall). Climb the cracks in the left wall to the top. Jump across to the flagpole then jump to the ramp. Slide down and grab the lantern swingpole.

King Arthurs Tomb 10 Grabbing the lantern pole will push it around 90 degrees. We're now facing the other lantern pole. Overhead there's a grapple point. Swing a few times then jump to the other lantern pole. In mid air, grapple the light and swing across to the far pole. Release at the highest point of your swing and take a huge leap to grab the lantern pole. It will swing 90 degrees and face the back wall. Swing and jump to the wall blocks. Climb up to the back wall.

King Arthurs Tomb 11 Grab the window sill and shimy to the right. Leap to the next window sill and then to the metal chain. Shimy up the metal chain all the way to the top. Jump to the roof of the castle. You may want to turn on your PLS (its dark). Go past the belltower in the middle to the other side of the roof. Against the cave wall around the back, pick-up silver reward 5/5. Not much else going on up here, other than the view. It's amazing!

King Arthurs Tomb 12 Go to the bell tower. There's a dangling rope. Jump to the rope and slide down. As you slide down [movie sequence begins]. Lara is amazed. This is magnificent. It's nothing like she imagined it would be. There are crypts everywhere lining the large cathedral room. Zip and Allister don't believe what she is seeing. This is all supposed to be myth and stuff of legend. It's not supposed to have happened. Lara insists she is seeing it for real.
