Stay on the forklift for this section. The hallway ahead is blocked by mechanical spears that cycle in and out. Slowly run the forklift through the spears. They will break off as they hit the steel body of the forklift. Lara is safe. Continue down the hall til you reach a large wrought iron gate. Using the forks, lift the gate til it opens all the way up. Drive under the open gate. A few more wall sections with spears to pass. Drive to the end.

Sections of the stone wall appear to be breakable (lighter in color). Drive the forklift through the stone wall. [action sequence begins] BAD IDEA!! The forklift rams through the stone wall and teeters over the edge of a deep pit. Hit X as the forklift goes over the edge. Lara jumps to safety and clings to the edge of the stone platform. Lara is now at the top platform of a very deep corridor shaft that goes down at least 100 meters.

It's really a long way down and it looks like most of the stone stairs have broken away either from age or from sabotage. It's gonna take some creative work to get down to the bottom. Look to the right first. Use the grapple and latch onto the cross in the alcove. Pull the grapple for bronze reward 4/9. Go to the left and down the stair, but not all the way to the bottom. Look to the far wall. Another cross. Grapple bronze reward 5/9.

From the end of the stairs, jump to the ledge sill on the left. Shimy to the right. Lean right and jump to the next ledge. This ledge is crumbling so won't last long. Quickly shimy to the right. Jump to the next ledge which is also crumbling, then jump down to the stair section below. THAT SECTION IS ALSO CRUMBLING! Run down the stairs and leap across to the platfrom in the corner. The stone stair section collapses and falls to the bottom.

Run down the next set of stairs and jump to the flagpole. Swing a few times and leap to the alcove in the far wall. Safety jump down to the ledge. Lean and jump to the right to the next ledge. You can see a glowing cross above you, but we'll get it in just a minute. Quickly shimy all the way to the right on the crumbling ledge. Jump down to the platform in the corner. Jump up and climb into the stone opening. Walk down the hidden tunnel (camera goes funny).

You can see Lara through the windows as she walks, with the camera at 90 degrees. At the end, grab bronze reward 6/9. Walk back and safety drop to the platform. Down the next set of stairs, jump to the dangling chain. Pivot to the left. Shimy up the rope til you're in line with the ledge. Swing across and grab the ledge. Shimy to the right, across 2 crumbling ledges, then down 1 ledge, to another platform. From here, jump to the floor.
