[movie sequence] Young Lara is in the tomb at Tiwanaku with her mother. They uncover the ring of time left by the Incan civilization. Lara pushes the sword into the mechanism which activates the portal ring. Lara's mother comes to defend her child, but is ultimately swept up in the time machine. She disappears? |

[movie sequence] Return to present day. Lara and Rutland's mercenaries exchange gunfire on the rope bridge. They call a time-out. Rutland wants to know if Lara has found the other piece of the sword? Lara gives no information but is suspicious that he knows about it. Rutland mentions an old friend Amanda. Lara is shocked that Amanda is alive. |

[action sequence begins]. Rutland's helicopter flies in from the left and starts to blow-up sections of the bridge as Lara tries to cross. Run as fast as you can and jump the holes in the bridge. Stay on the right side of the bridge and then jump to safety. Hang on to the ledge then pull-up. This is going to be a ginfight! 12 guards in all to take down. |

Move around the terrace finding cover behind the columns, whenever you can. Use up your assault rifle ammo first. This will make quick work of the first 5-6 guards. KEEP MOVING!! If Lara stands still more then a few seconds, the guards will swarm. Try to lock-on to one target at a time and take him down despite everyone shooting at you. The key is knock down each guard as quickly as possible. Use your reserve of healthpacks as neeeded. |

[movie sequence begins] Lara kneels in front of the time mechanism where her mother and her once stood many years ago. She wonders where her mother could be and if she is still alive? Zip breaks in and tells Lara that they have new information about Paraiso and she needs to come back home to Croft Manor. |
