Zip tells Lara over the headset, that mercenaries are guarding the temple entrance. There's somebody else here. Nothing like unwanted tourists. |

Another new feature of this game is the explodable objects. Whenever a triangle appears near an object it mean the item will interact and either explode or collapse when shot on. It is ALWAYS helpful to use the extra help when you can get it. Fire your guns, dislodge the boulders and let them roll down the hill. The rocks will kill the 2 guards patrolling below. Slide down the enbankment.

There are other guards nearby that begin to fire on you, so take cover. Go to the right first into a small alcove. Pick-up the healthpack and grab bronze reward 6/10. Come back out the alcove with guns loaded. Pick off the 2 nearby guards at point blank range. If you take any injury, go back and recharge with a healthpack that you haven't picked up yet. AHHH!!! The guards won't be needing this? A new rifle!! Grab it [triangle] and add to your arsenal. |

Walk up the slope and take out another guard. You probably won't need his healthpack. There is another rope leading to the temple. To the right, down below, you can see another reward in the distance. Jump down, and grab bronze reward 7/10. Run back, jump up, grab the ledge, turn around and use the rope to swing to the other side. You may have to shimy up the rope. Change weapons to the rifle.

All the guards in the area have been alerted. There are 6 in all. They start firing at you, as soon as they see you. Run up to the rock bridge and open fire. Off to the left you can see a triangle button. Shoot out the rock column on the left and it comes crashing down, killing 2 guards. Run up and take their SMG weapon (which is better). The second guard will give you reserve ammo. Run up and kill all the guards then clean out the area. |

Do not go through the entrance into the temple just yet. Off to the left, there is one alcove cut into the stairs that has a false front. When you see it, you can detect the glowing bricks (meaning you can break it). Fire your gun and explode the wall. Walk inside and grab silver reward 2/5. As Lara walk up the steps to the entrance [movie sequence begins].
