Lara finds 2 guards standing patrol. Problem is... they will BOTH start shooting, once she is discovered. Use the lock-on targeting ring and shoot one of them til he drops. Lara will take damage, but not enough to seriously injure her. The target ring will auto-lock on the other guard once the first one dies. Shoot the second guard til he drops. Go over and pick-up the healthpack that he drops. Again, remember that Lara can only carry a maximum of 3 healthpacks, so use them wsiely. |

The only way forward is up. On the left there's a swing pole but we can't quite reach it. Behind the cascading water, there's a wall ledge Lara can grab. Jump and grab the ledge behind the water. Shimy to the left. GO QUICKLY!! A ledge section will crumble away as you pass. If you are not quick enough, don't worry. You can always leap across the gap and grab the last piece of ledge on the left. Now turn Lara to face the swing pole (one hand). |

Grab the swing pole. If Lara only grabs with one hand use [triangle] to secure the other hand before she falls. Swing a few pinwheels and jump to the crack in the wall. Shimy to the left and jump to grab the next wall. Pull up. Use the rope and swing across to the other side (where we just were). Swing 3-4 times and jump to the high hidden alcove (see X in image). Inside, pick-up bronze reward 4/10. Drop down and walk to the right. |

Along the far wall are 2 more swing poles. Swing across and land on the far pathway. Draw your guns. There's another guard waiting. If needed, use the healthpack he drops. Up ahead, another new move. Using the grapple hook look for the special X mark. Run and jump blind. In mid-air, hit X. This will activate the grapple hook and Lara can swing across safely to the other side. Tap X to release the grapple. It can be a little scarey! |

Walk up the stairs and go to the right. Notice closely that as Lara turns the corner her head points to something up top. This is an indicator of a hidden reward. It will happen many times throughout the game. Turn around. Look up. Use the grapple and pull down bronze reward 5/10. The rest of the passage is uneventful. Walk down and to the left. Lara is now looking at the entrance to the temple. [movie sequence begins].
