After the movie sequence where Lara assembles the deep sea wetsuit, we find ourselves in the ocean from an airlock out the bottom of the sub.

The propellor thrusters on the dive suit allow Lara to explore the area. To the right, the passage leads to a large valley protected by a roaming 1-man torpedo sub. Once spotted, Lara has to dodge the missles as they are constantly launched from the little sub. Take a hit, and Lara loses considerable health. At the far end of the valley, you can see below, the outline of a rusted sub, partially buried in the rock. Swim behind the sub, down to a small alcove. Pick up a SECRET ROSE in the tunnel.

Swim back up to the main area, avoid the 1-man sub again, dodging the missles, swimming left then right. Go all the way back to the sub that Lara started from, and continue right to another valley area. Another torpedo sub greets you. Along the far wall, there is an opening, that looks like a narrow alley. Follow the alley around to another open area. The rusted sub below, has an opening in the hull, that you can swim through. Again, avoid the torpedo sub that knows you're there.

As you go down into the sub, it looks more like a series of caves. Through each cave, there is an small opening and exit. Follow the path, all the way through 4 openings. As you approach the final opening, a movie sequence begins. Lara has discovered a crate, lying on the bottom. Inside, is the mysterious Spear Of Destiny artifact. She can't believe she has found it. As she picks it up, a steel beam falls from overhead, puncturing her dive suit.

Now Lara is on a timer to return to the airlock of the main sub. Follow the route back to the opening to the valley.
Rather than go through the alleyway (the original route), this time, swim out the valley, and take advantage of the water current that sweeps you around to the sub straight ahead. Find the split in the rock that allows you to approach the sub. WATCH YOUR AIR. If need be, use a large medpack to buy you time. If you make the airlock, LEVEL ENDS.
