This is a seamless level advance with no movie sequence. Lara crawls up on shore from the mill pond and finds herself in a small village with 3 thatched roof houses. There is no-one around.

To the left is a sloped ramp. You can swim over or jump over. As soon as Lara pulls up from the water, or slides down the ramp from a jump, do a back-flip to land beside the mill. There's a crawlway into the building. In the room, find the chest of drawers. Behind is a water exit back to the mill pond. Open the drawers and retrieve the Rubber Tube (seems odd). Grab the medpack and drop into the pool of water. Swim through the tunnel, back up to the mill pond where you first entered the level.

Return to the wooden walkway. Jump over the wooden dam to the pond on the far side. Watch-out for the group of rats that swim out to greet you. If you stay underwater they eventually disperse. Climb out of the water and enter the archway in the cliff. Crawl through the opening and emerge back by the Gallows Tree courtyard. Remember not to wake the little demon troll and stay left hugging the wall all the way to the steps. Look back to make sure the barrel by the hut is not disturbed.

To the left of the chapel wall is another crawlway. On the other side is another path and a bridge with a dimly-lit boarded-up entrance. Under the bridge pick up the Pitchfork. [Combine] the Pitchfork with the Rubber Tube from Inventory to make a Catapult? (really a slingshot). [Use] the Slingshot to dislodge the bell weight which sends the bells crashing down and blows the boards off the entrance. Inside the bell room, grab the Bell Clapper. Drop down to the tunnel in the corner of the room.

On the other side of the tunnel is a sloped walkway leading to a locked iron door. Along the path, are several small rooms cut into the rock, each one holding a closed crypt (very eerie like a graveyard). In the first room to the left, there's a wooden torch on the floor. Grab the torch and go to the 3rd room on the right. It has a lit torch on the wall. [Use] the torch near the wall to light it. Straight ahead is a ladder shaft leading down. Throw the lit torch down the shaft and safety climb down.

Grab the lit torch. Walk carefully. Straight ahead is a breakaway floor with a deadly spike pit. Up to the right is an alternate route. Use the alternate route and emerge on the other side of the breakaway floor. A flock of bats bothers you for awhile but they go away. At the top of the long tunnel is a room with tree roots sticking out the ceiling. [Use] the torch to light the roots. As the roots burn, the hangman's heart falls. Pick up the heart. Movie sequence begins with Father Patrick.

If you follow Father Patrick, you go down a chute and return to the Gallows Tree area. Retrace your steps back through the bell tower and up the crypt walkway to the iron door. If you go the other way, you need to avoid the spike pit and climb the ladder to return to the walkway by the iron door. Place the heart in the cubbyhole by the door. The next movie sequence is very spooky. Lara watches all the demon trolls coming from the cyrpts. She uses the iron bell clapper to vaporize them.

Lara moves a block exposing another secret tunnel. Jump down, crawl through the opening, then walk through the series of halls, across the bridge then up another series of blocks and halls, emerging at the hill chapel. LEVEL ENDS.
