After pulling the right lever and entering the central hallway with the wind-air symbol, Lara walks into a confined room that looks like a deep cavern. |

There are continuous blasts of smoke and steam coming from all different directions, from stone serpent heads. The smoke is poisonous, and if Lara accidentally gets a good blast of it, she'll loose substantial health. It doesn't quite kill Lara, if she is at full health, but she definitely cannot handle 2 blasts, without recharging from her medpack reserve. Watch the health bar closely when crossing the pit. |

The firepit is impossible to cross as it is right now. Off to the right is a cracked wall. Lara can push the wall [action] into a small room. Inside that room are 2 chocolate bars and a lever on the wall. Pull the lever. This will activate a set of towering log pylons that rise up from the pit. The steel gate at the back of the room, (where the crystal is stored) also opens. Go back to the central chamber. Watch the log pylons closely. They are all swaying back and forth. |

The plan is to jump the pylons in sequence, to the set of stairs on the other side. This is not regular jumping, but precision hop-jumps. If you are off the mark, even by a little, on your landings, Lara plunges to her death. Use [walk] to make sure you don't fall off the pylon once you land. SAVE GAME OFTEN. Use the same memory block and overwrite every time you make a successful jump. No point going through the misery more than neccessary. And you will attempt this MORE THAN ONCE! |

This was my sequence to get across. For some reason, I wasn't affected by any streams of smoke. 4 jumps and I was able to make the steps on the far side. One secret I found out about jumping. After repetitive gameplay experience, you do become a very good judge of distance and just how far a standing hop-jump will carry Lara. Knowing this, makes this task alot easier. Be patient. Wait for the swaying logs to come into line. Try to align Lara's position as precisely as you can. |

Once on solid ground, climb the steps and grab the air crystal in the back wall. There's also an ammo clip on the floor nearby. Ok.. So now it's time to go back. Hmmm... the smoke is all gone now. Everything is still. This will make Lara's return trip alot less stressful. I chose to follow the same route back. |

This is again your decision. You can go back another way as long as you remember to use [walk] and precise hop-jumps. It's up to you if you want to save game after every jump. You may feel confident to now do it all in one go? Once you get to solid ground, go up the stairs and back out the hallway. LEVEL ENDS. The game will reload the Hall Of Seasons. Go to the hallway with the 4 paintings and insert the air crystal into its matching receptacle. |
