Lara find herself in a dark tunnel. There's a sewer rat coming to greet you. Load any weapon and take care of the rodent. The door on the right, is locked. |

Be careful walking down the tunnel. As Lara turns the corner to the right, the stone floor gives way and crumbles into a deep pit. It's impossible to run jump across the gap to the other side and there's no ledge or pipe to shimy across. Jump down into the pit. Walk to the other side. Lara's help voice says the wall looks climbable! Climb the wall and pull up to the next tunnel section. As you walk, the next floor section gives way. One difference this time. There's a small ledge, on the right. |

On the right wall, high up by the ceiling, there's a pipe that spans across the gap. Jump up, grab the pipe, and shimy left as long as you can hang on. If you're timing is right, you will just have enough strength to make the ledge to safety. If you hesitate, even a little, Lara will fall into the pit below. There's no climbable wall in this pit. There is a small crawlway at the bottom of the inside wall. Use the crawlway to return to the first pit area with the climbable wall. Climb the wall, pull-up and try again. |

Once clear of the second pit, go arond the corner to the right. Up ahead, a smaller section of floor breaks away. Lara slides into a pool of sewer water below. This is where Lara learns to swim real fast. Navigate your way back to the surface and find the inner wall. While treading water, Lara's help voice says the wall is climbable. Climb the wall vine to the high crack running along the brick line. Then change direction and shimy back to the right to the walkway. Now turn back and walk to the edge. |
NOTE: For some reason, the screen camera goes passive while in the 2 water sections. Navigate your way using your analog stick in the screen direction rather than what you would normally think is Lara's direction.

Slide down the ramp. While sliding, jump and grab the far ledge. Pull up. Around the corner, there's another large section of open sewer water. It doesn't look passable. Jump into the water. Swim to the surface. Swim around the corner to another climbable wall vine on the right. Climb up the wall to the crack line high in the bricks, and then shimy across the crack to the floor. Walk to the end of the tunnel section. Shoot the rat as it comes out. We've come almost full circle from where we entered. |

Walk to the pile of debris with the sparking electrical wire. Pull the block away from the debirs. As you pull, the pile of debris falls away, making an opening in the tunnel. Along the wall, is a fenced grate leading to crawlway. Kick in the grate [action] and crawl into the next room. Grab the MV-9 ammo on the floor. Open the door and go left. Walk down through the newly opened tunnels past the level entrance. Jump in the next pool of water and tread over to the far ledge. Pull up. |

Walk through the room with the whistling steam vent (nothing there) through the hole in the wall. We are now in the church basement. Go through the door on the left into the make-shift infirmary. Look at the strange guy on the bed. He was attacked by the Monstrum, but survived (slowing transforming into a mutant though). There's a medpack on the shelf. Nothing here. Go out the door and to the left. Go through the door into Bouchard's office. Interactive talk sequence begins. |

Lara asks Bouchard about the guy lying in the bed. Bouchard explains what happened to him; that his messenger Arnaud was the only one, out of 4 of his men, to survive the attacks while delivering secret items to Rennes. Lara asks for help and decides to cut a deal with Bouchard by delivering Czech passports to Rennes. In exchange, Lara will get a contact name inside the Louvre and maybe hardware. |

There's nothing to find inside Bouchard's office. By the far door, there's a lever on the floor by the wall. Pull the lever. This opens all the locked cage doors in the basement corridor. Go back into the corridor and into the first room on the left. Behind the last coffin on the left (in the dark), there's MV-9 ammo. Go back out, down the corridor to the last room on the left. Inside, there's a lever switch, high on a ledge, above the entrance. Push the crate all the way across the room and then to the door. |

Climb up on the crate then jump up and grab the ledge. Pull up and then pull the switch lever under the lamplight, against the back wall. Safety-drop back down to the floor and go back into Bouchard's office. The door to the left is now open. Go out the door. LEVEL ENDS.
Lara is back inside St. Aicards' Church. Find your way back out the church entrance, and walk back through the streets to Rennes Pawnshop, as Bouchard strongly suggested. |
