Once the doors open from the great hall, watch for an angry grizzly bear. Load you pistols and shoot him while runing backwards. You can run back into the great hall, so he'll be easy to take down. Go down the passge to the pit with th 2 poles. Jump to the pole. Slide down the pole to the pit floor. Pick-up the small med-pack. Look for the wall ledges on the right. Jump and grab the ledges, then lean and jump to the second pole. Shimy up the pole just a bit, and jump to the far walkway.

Go down the passages til you reach the open courtyard. Walk slowly down the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs, Lara hears the howls of wolves. Load your pistols and slowly walk out. As you see a wolf, start to shoot and run back up the stairs. They'll go down quickly. One wolf may follow and one wolf may stay behind to wait. Watch your auto-target ring. If it is still active, there's still some hunting to be done. Once clear, go down to the village.

As Lara walks into the village, another bear comes lumbering out of one of the huts. Run back up the stairs and fire away. The bear doesn't (or can't) come up the stairs, so you can kill him from a safe position. Now go down and explore the village. There are no goodies lying around. The gate to the next section is locked and needs a key. The only way out looks to be via the village well. Jump into the water and dive down to the bottom.

Look for a stone tunnel leading out from one of the walls. Swim down the tunnel as quickly as you can to the end. Against the far wall look for a wall lever. Pull the underwater lever. A gate opens directly above you. Lara is almost out of air, so quickly surface right above the lever. Jump out of the water.

Inside the hut, look for a switch along the left wall. Pull the wall switch. This releases the door back out to the village courtyard. Don't go out. Go up the wooden stairs. Jump across the gap to the other hut. Walk across the planks. The wooden planks will break away beneath you. Go to the small archway and pull out the metal cage [triangle]. Push the metal cage over to the right under the ledge. Climb up and get the small medpack [X].

Leave the cage where it is for now and crawl through the archway. Go to the back and to the left. Pick-up the shotgun shells and around the corner pick-up the village key. Crawl back out to the room with the cage. Load your pistols and shoot-out the gate ring. The wooden gates will swing open. Pull the metal cage outside into the coutryard. Push the cage over to the wooden pole with the stone base. A little detour first for an artifact.

Climb up the cage and jump over to the wooden pole. Shimy all the way up the pole. Lean left and grab the stone ledge. Shimy to the left and pull up on the ledge. Load your pistols and shoot the 2 large bats. Leap to the horizontal pole, swing a few times then jump to the next platform. Look across the courtyard. The artifact is just visible behind the vegetation by the upper lagoon [X]. Ahead, there's an overhead hook to grapple.

Leap off the ledge and grapple the overhead hook [square]. Swing across and release to grab the wall ledge. Shimy to the left to the end. Lean left and jump to grab the horizontal pole. Swing to the next pole, then swing and release to the rock outcrop with the lagoon. Shoot down 2 more bats. Look to the right and grab artifact 1/1. To get down, jump off by the edge of the waterfall and land in the well below. Swim through the tunnel and exit.

Now that we have the key, we can press on. Exit the hut (the wall switch is pulled). Go right. Insert the key [triangle] and release the gate. There's wolves howling in the distance. Not one, not 2 but 3 wolves come running. Load your pistols and run backwards as soon as you see the first wolf. Watch for the adrenalin attack (when the screen goes blurry) and use the combo moves while shooting.
