Down the next passage, Lara enters another large cave. Follow the path around to the right. There is a howl of wolves. They are nearby. Don't jump down to the pit unless you're prepared to fight. The first wooden bridge will collapse below you, so you may want to go now and battle with the 2 wolves. Load your pistols and drop down to the lower pit. Shoot to kill both wolves. Use your lock-on target ring [L1] to stay focused on one wolf.

The wolves are not going to be that easy to take down, so watch for the adrenalin attack surge (blurry screen) from either annimal. Duck and roll to avoid injury. Once they are both dead, look around. There is a hidden alcove with a small medpack. Jump to the broken section of wooden bridge and climb up (like a ladder). Climb to the upper stone platform. Look back to the far wall. There's another small med-pack to get [X] Use the column ledges to shimy and get across.

Climb back up to the upper stone platform and go across the second wooden bridge. Look down to the left of the bridge. You can see another artifact in a small passage. We can't get to it, but will shortly. In the next chamber, there's a dangling rope. Down below, a grizzly bear is waiting. If you want the artifact, you'll need to kill him. Safety drop from the edge to the pit. Load your pistols. When the bear comes out of his den, start shooting.

The secret to killing the bear is to keep moving around in a circle. The bear will be disoriented. Continue to fire on him. He'll die eventually. Go down through the small tunnel. Find the wall lever and open the door. Go down the next passageway to the right. Pick-up artifact 3/3. You can't go back this way, so jump off the edge of the small passage and work back to the room with the dangling rope.

Jump to the rope. Stay hanging from the rope. Rotate to the left til you're parallel with the left wall. Swing back and forth til you have enough momnentum to grab the large medpack. Safety drop back down to the pit. Along the back wall, there are step ledges up the wall to climb back up.

Before going down the stairs, check behind the columns for another small medpack. Go down the stairs to the next passage with the broken wooden beams. Look for the horizontal pole along the left wall. Take a running jump and grab the pole. Swing around the pole and leap to the far ledge. Grab the edge and pull-up. Climb the wall on the right and jump up the ledges til you reach the upper walkway. Go left down the hall. Enter the great hall.
