To find the outside garden, find the door on the main floor under the second floor balcony near the staircase. Walk all rthe way doown bothe hallways. |

Approach the sundial sculpture in the middle of the garden, near the wrought iron gates. In the center of the sculpture, look for the circular stone floor tile with the mark of the spear. Place the sundial gnomen into the sculpture. The sundial is on a swivel base. Remember the code 11-2-7? Turn the base of the sundial to XI (roman for 11). Use the spear as your pointer. Once the sundial locks in place, the floor tile marked XI will rise up.

Rotate the sundial to the number II. Wiggle the sundial to lock it in place. The stone tile rises from the floor. Now rotate the sundial to the number VII (7). The last stone tile rises from the floor and locks. The sundial lights up in a eerie glow and the wrought iron gates open, leading out into the garden maze. Use your maze map and make your way to the middle fountain area. Use the grapple and pull the cover off the gear mechanism.

Insert the sculpture gear into the mechanism. Now go back and pull the lever. The statue on the top of the fountain moves, but doesn't do anything. Walk up to the statue. In the floor, is an inlay stone showing the bow, and on the other side showing the arrow. Insert the bow. We'll have to go back and get the arrow. It's inside the fireplace. HINT: We have to find the wrench to turn on the water, to fill the bucket, to put out the fire.

Use your grapple and pull on the ring locking the wrought iron gates. We can now come back and forth with ease. There are 3 artifacts to get inside the hedge maze. From the sundial, go left to the lower quadrant for artifact 3/8. Walk to the back of the maze for artifact 4/8. Walk around the back to the right of the fountain and find artifact 5/8. Find your way out and go back inside Croft Manor. From the great hall, go thru the door to the gym.

Lara should now have the wrench in her posession. Go to the far end of the garden and find the water tank. Find the large pipe near the control panel. Use the wrench and turn on the water. You can hear the rush of water as the pipe opens. All the fountains are now operational and water is flowing.

Along the mansion wall, there are several small statues with flowing water. Use the empty bucket and fill your bucket with water from the wall well. Now that you have a full bucket of water, go back inside the mansion and go to the fireplace inside the great hall. Douce the fire with the bucket of water. Grab the golden arrow from the back of the fireplace. Now come back outside to the garden and across the sundial back into the maze.

Walk back to the central fountain area with the archer. Place the golden arrow on the archer statue. If you haven't already, place the golden bow in the other arm. Now go back and pull the lever. The mechanism will move and the archer pulls on the bow with the arrow. He then fires the arrow at another far statue breaking his arm and releasing another treasure. Go over and pick-up the music box cylinder. We now have the missing piece.

Lara will now have access to the final room in the house. Just wanted to make note that the photo above has a really nice moonlit sky. The moving clouds and the bright moon, really make you feel like your right there. Very nice effects! |

Now that Lara has the music box cylinder, go back inside Croft Manor. Go up the stairs and find the room with the locked security box. Insert the music box cylinder. It plays a familiar song then the door magically unlocks. Inside we have the music room. LEVEL ENDS. The game prompts you to SAVE? You can continue to play with the instruments or unlocked music themes from the game. There are no relics to find inside the manor.
