[movie sequence begins] As Lara walks out into the arena, 2 gorillas jump down from the seats. They're big and dangerous. Where did they come from? One gorilla stands on his back legs and lets out a ferocious roar and thumps the ground. He's ready for a battle. The other gorilla picks up a stone block nearby and throws it up against the wall.

Load the 50-cal guns. Wait for the lock-on target ring to go red and start shooting. The 2 gorillas will come running together. Run backwards away from them. Run in a circle around the gorillas, continuing to fire on them, while they try to turn and run at you. Try to stay away from the middle of the arena near any of the loose stone blocks. Don't give them a chance to throw one at you. They go down easily without even an adrenalin attack.

Once clear, look for a break in the stone wall along the right side. There's a stone ramp on the arena floor. Run up the ramp and grab the broken stone ledge. Climb up into the arena seating. Go to the right and up the ramp or seats to the very top. Look for the cracked stone pillar. From the top row of seats, jump to the pillar crack. Shimy around to the left then jump up to another pillar crack. Lean back. Jump to the rubble then to the next ledge.

We're now right next to the main building. Slide down the ramp to the top of the flat boulder. Go right and jump to grab the edge of the building. Pull up to the stone floor. Walk around the back to the long hallway. The door gate is locked. We need a key. Out on the balcony, pull the floor lever. A cutaway scene shows the other arena door below opening. The music starts to get intense?. Can only mean 1 thing... more animals!

Go right this time. This is a good time to explore the other grandstand area. I didn't find any goodies. At the end, jump down over the stone ledge and drop down to the arena floor. Load your 50-cal guns. You have company... 2 lions & 2 gorillas come charging. Start shooting as soon as your target ring allows. They will use adrenalin attacks. Dodge them as best you can and take them down.

Now that the area is quiet again, go down through the newly opened door under the arena balcony. Walk cautiously down the passageway all the way to the bottom. Down below more cages with human remains inside. Yuck! On top of one the cages, is the balcony key. We can't get it yet. Go into the far room. Look for a smaller metal cage. It's on top of one of the large cages. Use the grapple and pull the small cage down to the floor.

Walk up to the small cage and push it from behind. Push the cage over to the left side of the room. Push it up the inclined wooden fence (knocked down). You may find it difficult to push but keep with it. Lara is trying to push it up an incline. Let the cage fall over the wooden fence to the other side of the room. Now push the cage over to the larger cage in the far corner. Climb up and grab the balcony key.

Start the walk back up the passageway to the arena. The music will start to get intense again. Load your shotgun while walking up. As you approach sunlight through the door, 2 lions come running. You may not even get a chance to get into the arena area. I chose to shoot them in the passageway. It's tight and Lara does take some injury from lion bites, but you can use a large medipack after.

Walk out to the arena again. No more animals! Now it's time to work your way back up to the balcony area to use the key.
