After working down to the very bottom of the labyrinth, we can get to one of the wall levers quite easily. Climb down the ladder from the center structure. Walk up the steps along the far wall and pull the lever. A cutaway scene show the gate to Atlas opening. The lamp lights on the wall light-up in a burst of fire. Go back to the center structure and start the climb up to the top level. From the broken catwalk, jump to the stone ledge.

Take a running jump to the right and gtab the stone ledge. Shimy to the right around the corner inside the wall [1]. Lean back and grab the ledge on the far wall [2]. Release and slide down the ramp. Halfway down, jump up and grab the stone ledge. Shimy to the left around the corner [3]. Drop down to the ledge by the floor. Shimy to the left, jump the crumbled gap [4] and pull-up to the Atlas archway. Walk down the hallway to the gate room.
Go to the right wall and pull the lever. Jump to the metal flange on the iron gate and hang-on. The gate rises and locks in place. Listen for the drum beats. On the 4th drum beat jump to the upper wall ledge, before the gate slams to the ground. Crouch through the opening in the wall, safety drop and jump down to the floor on the other side. Walk down the hallways til you reach the deep pit.
The only way across the pit is using the turnstile. Grab one of the arms and have Lara push the turnstile by walking round and round til the floor is completely closed in. When you're ready to cross, let go of the turnstile and run across the floor. It will start to reopen as soon as you let go. Jump the gap and walk up the ramp to the end by the Atlas statue. The ramp is inclined so sooner or later, that globe is going to be rolling down.
The Altas key is in a wooden compartment under the statue. It's heavily guarded by 2 lines of spears, so there is no way to get the key right now. Above the statue along the back wall, are 2 shooting targets. Lara will have to shoot-out the targets to release each line of spears. BUT... shooting both targets will release the globe from the statue, and it will roll down the ramp. There is no room to escape on either side, so don't shoot yet.
We need to find an escape route. Down near the bottom of the ramp, there are a set of stone wall ledges, leading to an upper terrace recessed from the ramp. Jump to the wall ledge and shimy to the left. Jump up and grab the next ledge and pull-up to the terrace. Pick-up the 50-calibre ammo, if needed. Pull the wall lever at the end. A horizontal pole extends out into the pit [X]. You can use this to escape but I didn't use it.. Too risky!
From this vantage point or maybe a little closer, load your 50-cal guns. They have a slightly longer target range than the regular pistols. Use the red lock-on target ring to aim at the back wall. Start at a far distance and fire 2 shoots, til you get a successful hit. Stay where you are. A cutaway scene shows the statue starting to buckle, and one line of spears withdrawing back into the floor. Shoot the other target then jump to the ledge.
A brief cutaway scene shows the bronze globe dropping from the statue and starting to roll down the ramp. Run to the wall ledge and grab it. Shimy to the left quickly [triangle], jump to the next ledge, then immediately jump up twice to the recessed terrace. The bronze globe will be just rolling past you as you pull up to safety. The globe rolls into the pit. Jump down to the ramp. Walk up to the end and go inside to get the Atlas Key.
Ok. Now to get out. The pole is now gone. Walk down the ramp to the pit. Note the stone pillar on the left. It's been shattered in half. The back face is broken but climbable. Jump to the pillar then up to the terrace. Go to the back to pick-up artifact 3/6. Pull the wall lever. The stone floor closes up but quickly starts to open. Quickly jump down to the ramp, run across the floor, jump the gap and out to the hallway. We're homefree.
Go back down the hallway to the gate room. Pull the wall lever and jump to the metal flange on the gate. Hang on. Wait for the gate to rise. Count 4 drum beats then jump to the upper opening. Crawl through and safety drop to the other side. Walk out to the archway back out to the labyrinth. A stone platform emerges from the wall as Lara walks out under the archway. The lamplights fire up with mist. From here, make a running jump back to the central stone structure.
SAVE GAME as you cross the checkpoint under the arch. The jump back to the central structure could be hazardous. At this point, you can climb down to the bottom and insert your key into the receptacle to release a sword.
