Once Lara has all 3 lead bars in her inventory, go back out to the statue courtyard. Jump up to the first level of the Midas statue. Go to the broken outstretched hand on the right. DO NOT JUMP UP AND STAND ON THE HAND!! If you do (curiosity) Lara turns to gold. Cool effects but not good for her health (she dies). True to the myth of the Midas touch (everything turns to gold).

What you want to do is walk up next to the outstretched hand. Pull out a lead bar. Place it on the Midas hand. The lead bar trasforms and turns into a gold bar. Take the gold bar and find an empty statue socket. They're all on the floor level of the statue. Insert the gold bar into a socket. A cutaway scene shows a bar releasing inside the water pool.

Insert all 3 gold bars into the empty sockets. The last bar releases the underwater gate in the waterpool. As Lara starts to walk to the waterpool, LEVEL ENDS.
