This level is not conventional. You have to find your way to the start after figuring out that the 2 little ducks in the buckets have to be head-butted FIRST and then you can light the fire under the wooden boiler to activate the whirlwind. If you light the fire first, the little bucket guys will come over and douce it with water. Every fire activates a steam mechanism that you need to use, to advance in the level.

There is a new weapon to use. Spyro has a mounted swivel cannon which can blow up alot of things including those metal spike mines. The 1st orb challenge from Gobble the Breezebuilder is to blow up 8 spike mines at different cannon locations. One mine is hidden on a protected ledge on the right side of the alley near the front of the level, but if you shoot in the general vicinity, it will explode. The cannon also works well on those silver jewel cases. Use the D-pad for directional aiming. The sailboat let's you cross to the other area to access the 3rd cannon.

Make sure you hover-land safely in the sail boat. It took me awhile to figure out that the last steam machine by the big boat was actually a catupult. After you start the fire under the boiler, stand on the bullseye and watch what happens! Once on the big boat, light the 2 fires and retrieve the talisman from Squawk, activate the portal, then ponder at the rest of the gems that seem to be way up there out of reach. The twirling gears are a sign of things to come. Return to the ledge by the 3rd cannon. Use the superspring power-up for the 2nd orb challenge.

This is one of the most fun arcade-style puzzles in the entire game, but the most difficult. If you like runaway mine carts this is it!! This is a similar ride to TombRaider3 in the RX Tech Mines. Collect 50 gears and all the gems and you're home free. Use the D-pad to jump tracks, and use the cannon to clear the track of crates and dynamite.
