Ripto's Rage

Summer

You'll have to pay Moneybags 200 gems first to bring down the wall that hides the portal to Aquaria Towers. Once inside, Ripple The Seahorse explains the scenario. Basically you have to fill the entire level with water. Needless to say there is alot of swimming in the level. Watch out for crabs and metal sharks lurking underwater.

Aquaria Towers 1 Do not try to kill the circling metal sharks. You will learn very quickly that they require a power-up to destroy. The crabs and the security guards can be head-butted when wet and flamed on dry land. Clear as much as you can on dry land. Make sure you push the red buttons in every area to release the overhead water valve. This lets you advance to the next cave. In one tunnel there are 4 crabs. One is on the ceiling. Pay Moneybags 100 gems to use the submarine which gets you to the last chamber. Come back later for the gems here.

Aquaria Towers 2 Hoppo will give you the talisman, once you fill the last area with water. Return to the start area through the tunnel where the last crab is. The superflame power-up can now be used to go back and kill the metal sharks. Just point and shoot. On the ceiling of the start area is an octagonal tunnel to the large upper section of the level. This place is very cool. Graphics are amazing and quite creative. Note the bubbles from Spyro and the glass sphere around Sparx. Clean out the gems remembering to swim up high to the numbered towers and overhead ledges.

talisman King Flippy has the 1st orb challenge rescuing 6 seahorses from the tops of the inside of the towers. Each tower has a number. Careful, there are surprise enemies and force fields inside the towers. The 2nd and 3rd orb challenge from Hunter riding the manta ray are fun and may make you sea-sick, but it gives you good training for Ocean Speedway.
