Sly & Murray get to have all the fun this mission. Bentley is staying safe in the HIDEOUT. They drive out to Ayers Rock with a big earth mover dump truck. Murray is so excited! Can you tell he misses his old van? The movie takes us out to an abandoned power drilling rig way out in the desert. Our mission... to gather lots of red scorpions, let them loose in the mine shafts and thin-out the Ayers Rock miner population.

Murray is back to his usual self and is hamming it up. They drive up to the drilling rig in the middle of a canyon. Bentley explains to Sly that he has to get onto the drilling rig and power the drill deeper into the ground. This will force the red soldier scorpions to the surface where they can be caught. Hop over to the drilling rig from the top of the dump truck and whack the 3 guards off the rig platform. Pull the drill levers. IT WORKS!

GAMEPLAY turns to Murray. Now that the red scorpions are running around the grounds, Murray can drive the dump truck and capture them in the special nets in the truck hopper. USE THE EMERGENCY BRAKE [R1] to flip the truck over onto its back to trap a red scorpion. Flip back over upright, using [R1] again. Use [X] to move forward. [circle] to back-up. Catch 10 red scorpions to start. Cool off your tires in the lake around the drilling rig, when they overheat.

After capturing 10 of the required 20 red scorpions, Bentley breaks-in and tells the gang that the scorpions are drying up. They're going to have to drill deeper into the ground to force more of them out. Sly's going to have to climb to the top of the drilling rig, and activate the second lever up top, to force the drill down more.

GAMEPLAY turns to Sly. He's still on the drilling rig. Ninja spire jump to the railing and watch the moving rings of the drilling rig. Look for the blue sparkle light of a climbing hook. Jump to the climbing hook. PULL BACK AND STAY LOADED. Watch above for another climbing hook to appear. Spring up and grab the next hook. Work your way to the top of the rings. When you face the gears, spring up to the hook on the gear face. As you spin, line-up your angle and spring across.

Spring across and hook the next gear face PULL BACK AND WAIT. Watch for the release angle to line-up with the next gear and spring across. Grab the last hook. Watch the overhead crane hooks as you spin around on the gear. Make the leap and grab the overhead crane hook. Ride the crane over to the small platform at the top of the drilling rig. Jump down and pull the lever. The drill sinks deeper in the ground.. BUT... the lake dries up? Bentley surveys this new problem and has a plan.

GAMEPLAY turns to Murray. As a substitute for water, to cool off the tires as they overheat, Murray can run over the blue scorpions for relief. Drive around and slam dunk 10 more red scorpions being mindful of your tire temperature. [Movie sequence begins] Murray backs up the dump truck to the mine entrance and unloads the red scorpions into the mine. JOB COMPLETE.
