Murray is excited and very nervous about seeing his Guru teacher again. Unfortunately for Murray, he's going to have to work his way through the mines to get access to Guru. Bentley explains that the mines are complicated and full of danger. Murray doesn't seem to be bothered in the least, and honestly believes there is nothing that will stop him from re-unting with his teacher again. From the start point, jump down to the ground and run over to the mine entrance.

Inside the first cave, SECURITY ALREADY! Knock down the 2 guards with a fist punch (don't kill them). Stomp on the ground next to one of the dazed guards, and bounce him into your arms. Shake him down for coins and gems. If the other guard starts to stir, toss the guard you have in your arms, into the other guard. If you still have time, toss the guard to the rock platform out in the cave. This will clear the way for Murray. if all else fails, toss one of the nearby boulders.

Jump across to the small rock platforms over to the cave tunnel. Be careful crossing the wobbly platform. TAKE DOWN THE DINGO MINER standing watch, inside the tunnel, but not before knocking him out and cleaning out his pockets? Pick up a boulder and toss a few at the rock outcrops up ahead. Clear the path. If a guard blocks your way up ahead, you can always toss a few boulders at the guards. One to knock him out, and a second one to knock him down (or off a rock) for good.

Make your way across the wooden bridge to the door. This is where Guru is supposed to be. The door is locked. Bentley senses that the steel door is too much for Murray to try and punch through with his fists. BUT... If Murray were to use his ball move (that he learned from his Dreamtime training), he could knock down the nearby hydraulic piston and force the door open? Roll Murray up into a ball [L1] and bounce him over to the piston. Push the piston down.

Make your way up through the door to the next cave. Take down the guards (shake 'em down first) and work your way down to the next locked door. Use the power pad to bounce up to the broken railroad track. This door is also locked. Nearby is a piston ram with 3 sections. Jump to the piston assembly first, then roll into a ball [L1]. Start to bounce in place and push down the sections. The trick is to push each ram down one notch at a time and bounce to the next piston.

Punch down all 3 pistons rams deep into the cylinder. Once the pistons lock down, the cave door will open. [Movie sequence begins] It doesn't appear the Guru is anywhere nearby. The inner chamber is alive with moving drill bits and an ornary KANGAROO GUARD. He's possessed by the Dark Earth Mask. It makes anyone who wears it, more powerful and sinister. Murray will have to deal with him first. Using the upper cut punch move [triangle] toss him into your arms. Throw the kangaroo into the moving drilll bits.

You'll have to throw him twice into each drill bit to destroy it. After all 3 drill bits are destroyed, the kanagroo goes down in smoke. The DARK EARTH MASK floats away, as if it were controlled by evil spirits. [Movie sequence begins] Murray finally meets up with his Guru and is eager to talk to him again. Murray explains his situation and asks tha Guru to cancel his training and rejoin the gang. Guru give him the ok. JOB COMPLETE.
