Bentley has taken over a Carnivale Fireworks shop on the far side of town. Bentley was able to decipher Octavio's plans for his opera recital and knows Octavio plans on blowing up a few buildings. Sly (with Bentley's help) is going to sabotage Octavio's promotional advertizing, by blowing up his blimps, before the towns people get a chance to see them. Unfortunately, Bentley's fireworks only have short fuses, so Sly will be on a timer.

Bentley hands Sly a fireworks pack and he straps it to his back. The timer bar starts to wind down (right side of screen). No time to think! A bullseye target is visible. Run across the bridge. Go left down the street. Run past the patrolling guards. DON'T ENGAGE THEM IN A FIGHT! Run up to the wall. [Movie sequence begins] Sly drops the fireworks payload and ducks for cover. The street explodes in a fireball. The blimp tether cable breaks, and flies away.

Run back to the fireworks shop. Bentley has another pack for you. The fuse on this one is a little longer, but the payload destination point is way across town by the main square. Grab the fireworks pack and run. If you can, get to the rooftops quickly and use your paraglider (if you have enough coins to buy it). Make your way across town and drop the payload. Run for cover as the pack explodes. The blimp tether gets caught in the tower clock face high above town.

Bentley needs Sly to find a way to get up to the top of that clock tower, and free the blimp tether cable. It took awhile to find a spot to start the climb. Jump to the flowerbox by the canal. Now jump to the small wall climbing hook (blue sparkle light) on the wall. Sly will automatically point to the right. Pull back on the hook, jump and grab the overhead hook. Swing back and forth on the hook until you get a full back and forth swing. Flip jump and land on the top of the awning.

From the awning, bounce up to the next wall hook. Pull back on the hook, spring up, and in mid-air, ninja spire jump to the point on the flagpole. The pole is flimsy and will bounce up and down with Sly's weight. Use the bounce and ninja spire jump to the next flagpole on the corner of the tower. From there, flip jump to the balcony. From the balcony railing, spire jump to the next flagpole, then bounce and spire jump to the pole at the end. Jump and grab the drainpipe.

Climb the drainpipe to the next level. Sneak across the ledge around to the back of the tower. Spire jump to the corner. Flip jump and grab the overhead hook with Sly's cane. Build up to a full swing and flip jump over to the drainpipe hanging from the moving billboard. IF YOU MISS THE JUMP, Sly will fall all the way back down to the bottom, and will have to start the climb up the tower again. Climb the drainpipe til the arm flips over and stops. Jump up and whack the blimp cable free.

Bentley's got a problem. Someone's trying to shut down his fireworks shop and Octavio is lurking nearby. He needs Sly to rescue him. Load the binocucam and pinpoint the bullseye target. Use your paraglider and soar across town. Make your way to the street where Bentley is. IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE PARAGLIDER YET, jump down to a nearby rooftop (no worry about injury) and run across town using the overhead cables and roof tops. Bentley is not where he said he would be?

[Movie sequence begins] Bentley has been high-jacked by Octavio. Octavio recognizes Sly and says that he knows that Bentley is the brains behind the operation. He is going to taste good as soup or maybe as fertilizer for his tomatoes. Octavio swears that no-one but no-one is going to stop his opera recital. Octavio runs away with Bentley on his shoulders. Chase after him!

If you played Sly 2, you'll remember chasing Neyla across rooftops and down streets. This is almost the same. Follow Octavio across town. He'll throw up laser fences to try and stop you. Just jump out of the way. Keep close to him and don't fall too far behind. Jump up the awnings to the rooftops and try to use short-cuts if you know his path. Eventually, Octavio reaches his palace. If Sly is closeby, Octavio will give him up and hide inside his home. JOB COMPLETE.
