This is the FINAL GAME PLAN for defeating General Tsao and breaking Jing King out of captivity. To do this we'll need everyone in the gang, pitching in to do their part. First up is Sly. He's already inside the temple. Open the doors for Murray and Miss Penelope. GAMEPLAY turns to Penelope and her RC dune buggy. Murray's only going to be moral support for now, but will be handy for the 2nd part of this mission. Penelope has to drive her dune buggy into the temple.

The temple is heavily fortified with blue security beams. The beams are controlled by several MOTION BEACONS scattered around the floor of the temple. Penelope will have to drive her RC dune buggy carefully around the obstacles to the far end of the temple. The RC dune buggy cannot hit a beacon or run through a beam (mission will fail). Watch the up and down cycle of the beam curtains and as they vanish, quickly drive the dune buggy to the next hallway.

The obstacles get more difficult the farther you go into the room. Be very careful to watch your speed and to control your steering in tight spots. If you have to, INCH BACK AND FORTH TO STEER AROUND SHARP CORNERS. Drive down 4-5 hallways to the middle of the temple. You'll finally be able to see the bullseye target [L3] which shows the location of the central security computer. Drive up close to the computer, back up to a safe distance and point your RC rifles at the terminal.

Before you fire the RC rifles, make sure YOU ARE LINED UP PROPERLY. One stray shot and you could accidentally hit a motion beacon and fail the mission. When you're sure, shoot-out the computer terminal. Hmm.... The security was supposed to go down? It's still active? What's going on? Murray has an idea.... If in doubt... go to PLAN B.... smash everything in sight. Penelope agrees. The mission has changed. Now Penelope has to shoot-out all the motion beacons.

The good news, we can now run wild in the room, blowing up stuff. The bad news.. WE'RE ON A TIMER! Penelope has to destroy 30 beacons in about 2 minutes (not too too tough). Go crazy and shoot up all the beacons. Run through the paper windows to save time and access new hallways. Watch the beacon counter at the lower right of your screen. When you reach 30 you're done. [Movie sequence begins] Penelope and Murray defeat the security and run into the temple.

Bentley breaks-in and tells the gang the secret treasure should be below the temple somewhere. Look for a trap door. Penelope finds the double switches. ON THE COUNT OF 3, press the button the exact same time Penelope presses her button. The trap door opens to the treasure vault below the dragon statue. Penelope hops down to the room below. Murray does a belly-flop... UhOh... Not a great idea. The floor is unsafe and starts to creak under the weight.

GAMEPLAY turns to Sly. He's been up on the roof of the temple keeping watch. Now he has to go to General Tsao's palace and help-out Panda King and Guru. They are going to rescue Jing King from the palace jail. From the rooftop, find the blue bullseye target [R3], deploy the para-glider and soar over to the rooftop of the temple. Jump down by the front entrance, take care of any nearby security. Walk in through the front doors.

[Movie sequence begins] Panda King & Guru have made their way through the underground tunnels to a point right under the palace. They're going to use Panda's explosives to break open a shaft up to the room where Jing King is being held. They are going to make alot of noise and vibrations. Sly is going to help keep things quiet by watching above ground inside the palace. Sly will be in the front lobby, looking for any movement.

This is really a very simple security device for General Tsao. All the vases at the front entrance are on very senstive pedestal stands. Watch the vases as Panda sets off an explosion (view screen upper right hand corner). One of the vases will START TO WOBBLE ON ITS PEDESTAL. Quickly run over in front of the wobbly vase, stick out your hand and stop the wobble before the vase crashes to the floor. If a vase lands on the floor, General Tsao will be alerted (mission fails).

Sly will have to stop about 10-12 vases from falling. Once complete, Panda King rejoices that they have reached the floor of the bridal chamber where his daughter is. [Movie sequence begins]. Panda & Guru enter the room where Jing King is being held. Father and daughter are re-united and quickly disappear out of view from behind the paper curtains in the palace. SHE IS SAFE!

GAMEPLAY turns to Bentley Sly breaks-in and tells Bentley that everything's ready inside the palace. The plan is to lure Carmelita to the front door of General Tsao's palace, before the wedding ceremony starts. Sly has left his calling card at the front door. Once Carmelita see Sly's calling card, she'll go running inside the palace and take down General Tsao. Bentley is going to use his remote grapple-cam and distraction voice to get Miss Carmelita's attention.

From the rooftop perch, load the grapple-cam and toss it to the nearby wooden dock (as far as you can). Deploy the grapple-cam and launch a series of cables over to the buildings of the village. Carmelita is patrolling over by the HIDEOUT [L3]. Grapple-cam your way over. THIS MAY TAKE AWHILE. From a safe distance away, yell at Carmelita through the grapple-cam [distract]. She comes running to the voice. Quickly turn around and grapple across to the palace.

DON'T LET CARMELITA CATCH YOU! (this is not easy). If she finds the grapple-cam she'll fire her stun gun at the camera and you're as good as toast... You'll have to start over. Grapple your way to the front of the palace and [distract] Carmelita again. She'll come running up the steps. [Movie sequence begins]. Carmelita approaches the front door, gun in hand, and sees Sly's calling card. She takes the bait and walks in.

[Movie sequence continues] Carmelita sees Sly walk off in General Tsao's costume and decides on a little diguise of her own, to try and catch Sly at his own game. The bridal chamber is now empty (Panda has left with Jing King). She sneaks inside and puts on a bridal outfit. Sly sneaks out of sight and the real General Tsao.. comes out of the back room. He's concerned about all the noise he just heard. No matter... he see his bride and smiles!

Meanwhile, back at the temple... Penelope & Murray have gotten themsleves into a jam? As they try to lower the treasure chest to the ground, the foundation gives way and the temple collapses and explodes into a million pieces into the lake. The temple is destroyed.. OOOpppps? General Tsao comes running up the cliffs to see his father's ancient temple ruined. He vows revenge and calls up a magical warrior dragon.

THE DRAGON TAKES PENELOPE HOSTAGE AND FLIES AWAY. Sly has to now go rescue her. On nearby rooftops, there are rocket launchers with tether rings. Grab a rocket and zoom-up into the sky. At the top of the launch, the rocket will burn-out. Deploy your para-glider and soar over to the back of the flying dragon. As you drop down from overhead, ninja spire jump to the points of the dragon's back. Jump your way to the head of the dragon along his pointed spine.

When you reach the back of his head, the dragon will turn his head to face you. WHACK AWAY WITH YOUR CANE. Watch for his flaming serpent tongue. Jump out of the way as his tongue sweeps across. KEEP WHACKING AWAY. He'll take damage quickly. After he's had enough (about 1/2 health), he'll turn his head back and roll over. Sly falls off. Use your para-glider to soar down to another rocket launcher location. If need be, use your binocucam [R3] to find a rooftop rocket nearby.

Ride another rocket up into the sky, and para-glide over to the dragon again. Ninja spire jump along his back, to his head, and when he turns around, WHACK HIM SILLY WITH YOUR CANE. If you're lucky, he'll go down during this second battle. If not, he'll knock you off again, and you'll have to find another rocket launcher and repeat the routine until he goes down in defeat. Grab Penelope and para-glide down to safety.

[Movie sequence begins] Back inside the palace, General Tsao starts the wedding ceremony. Little does he know that his bride is really Carmelita in disguise and NOT JING KING. Little does Carmelita know that her groom is the real General Tsao and NOT Sly. Somehow it's all poetic justice? The ceremony goes ahead, and at the right pivotal moment, Carmelita tosses her bridal outfit and brings out her stun gun.

[Movie sequence continues] Carmelita is bewildered it's not Sly, and General Tsao is outraged his bride has disappeared. No matter... Carmelita shoots the General and takes him down in short order. In her mind, eventhough she is diappointed yet again, a criminal is still a criminal and she does her civic duty. He's off to jail.

[Movie sequence continues] Panda King returns to his home with his daughter. To keep her safe, he leaves Jing King in the care of her aunt (his sister). He is happy about the reunion, and to pay his debt of gratitude, he agrees to join Sly and the gang in their quest to take back the Cooper Clan's treasure. MISSION COMPLETE.
