Battery of Peril

Battery of Peril 1 Bentley has found the location of a good replacement battery for Murray's van. Their recon of the village has found a battery out by the docks. It should be big enough to power the van. Load the binocucam find the green bullseye target, and wheel across the village. We're starting at the HIDEOUT. Watch for PATROLLING SECURITY GUARDS along the way. Best defense would be sleeper darts. Use your booster rockets on your wheelchair to go across the open water.

Battery of Peril 2 [Movie sequence begins] Bentley finds the battery but there's a problem... It's deader than a doornail and needs to be charged. He calls into Sly. He's gonna need his help. All of a sudden Carmelita jumps into the picture. She's gunning for Sly and has tracked him down to the docks. Sly surveys the situation in a hurry, and comes up with a new plan (but a dangerous one).

Battery of Peril 3 THE IDEA IS BRILLIANT BUT TRICKEY. Sly is going to strap the dead battery on his back. By luring Carmelita to chase after him, Sly's going to let Carmelita fire her plasma stun gun at him AND HIT HIM. The electrical discharge from her stun gun will also charge the battery. Gameplay turns to Carmelita. Sly starts to run away (yellow bullseye target). Your job as Carmelita, is to fire your stun gun at Sly, while he's running away. A direct hit and Sly will freeze in his tracks.

Battery of Peril 4 After being dazed for a few seconds, Sly will start to run away again. CHASE AFTER HIM FIRING YOUR STUN GUN. Use the square target frame to keep Sly in your sights. As cruel as it may sound, shoot Sly til his health is down to 0. If all goes well, you'll be across the river on the ramps leading up to the temple. Sly collapses as he succumbs to his injuries (but he's not dead). The good news is... Bentley whispers to Sly that the battery appears to be fully charged.

Battery of Peril 5 [Movie sequence begins] Carmelita cannot believe her good fortune and is so happy about her prize criminal capture. Ahh... the smell of sweet revenge. She turns her back to Sly and radios to Interpol and tells them she has Sly. MISTAKE! Sly wakes up and plays the decoy. While she's chatting on thew radio, Sly gets up quietly and sneaks away from her. Bentley tells Sly, there's a battery voltage converter nearby.

Battery of Peril 4 Bentley does have a word of caution though.... Don't get hit by any of Carmelita's stun gun missles from now on, because the battery is fully charged. Any POWER SURGE WILL CAUSE A MASSIVE EXPLOSION. Find the blue bullseye target, deploy the para-glider and soar over to the nearby ramp. Run up to the building and deposit the battery. It takes a few seconds for the voltage to convert. Once done, the battery will start to glow green. Grab the battery.

Battery of Peril 7 Carmelita is on the warpath again and you can hear her yelling, a mile away. SHE'S MAD and hot on your trail. Run like mad down the ramp. Our destination is the battery terminal, right next to the van by the HIDEOUT. Weave to the left and right to avoid Carmelita's gun fire as she runs behind you (blind view). Jump to a rooftop to stop her firing directly at you. Find the HIDEOUT and drop-off the battery. JOB COMPLETE.
