Bentley is first up on this mission. He sneaks into General Tsao's palace. His job is to hack-into Tsao's own personal computer to see what has happened to his high-jacked laptop. Wheel into the palace. Look to the right. Behind the Chinese curtain you'll see the laptop terminal. Time for another nano mini-game. This one will be a tougher challenge. Make your way past the DIGITAL BLACK HOLE through the first set of forcefields. The security defense is extreme.

The security centurion will chase and fire on your nano-tank. Grab one of the yellow orbs and hover across to the matching receptacle on the other side of the circuit. If you have to engage the centurion, blast away at his outer rings first. KEEP MOVING! Go back behind the security fence and grab the second orb. Quickly fly across the circuit before the centurion corners you. This may take 2-3 tries because the attack is agressive and you'll be injured quickly. Unlock the hub portal.

[Movie sequence begins] Guru and Sly run out to a nearby temple bell. Bentley has access to a special gate key which is under the temple bell. He tells Guru and Sly to go under the bell. They are magically elevated to a rock ledge. Bentley says they have to WALK ACROSS THE HEAVENS? Guru's figured it out. He conjures up the spirits with his moonstone. Guru jumps on Sly's back.

Guru will keep Sly suspended in mid-air with his dreamtime magic, while they navigate the obstacle course. GURU WILL SUMMON THE NEXT OBJECT TO CROSS. Look for the ninja spire point (blue sparkle) of the next thing, whether it be a person or a tree branch or a wire. Flip jump and spire land on the next object. Work your way across the air, waiting each time for Guru to bring up another object from the ground. Make your way to the end, up by the rock cliff. Guru jumps off.

[Movie sequence begins] Bentley breaks-in and tells Sly he's getting funny energy readings behind the cliff. He is sure Tsao is back there, but tells Sly to be careful. Sly crawls through the tunnel and jumps to the top of a bamboo tree out in a misty forest.. General Tsao appears. he knows its Sly Cooper, his so-called wedding photographer. No matter. IT'S TIME FOR SLY'S LEGACY TO DIE.

THIS IS AN ARENA BATTLE WITH TSAO. The object is to whack him with your cane while he's flying between bamboo posts. STAY CELAR OF HIS RED FIREBALLS. 3 hits and you're dead! Ninja spire jump between bamboo posts and use the flip jump to change direction in mid-jump. The best strategy is to chase behind him to the left. As he starts to jump across the mist, jump across to intercept his jump path and whack him from the side. He goes down eventually.

[Movie sequence continues] Sly and Tsao both fall through the mist to the ground below. General Tsao is impressed with Sky's skills but amused. He asks Sly why he is concerned about all this? Sly says that he can't marry Jing King. She is being held captive against her will. General Tsao doesn't care and will get his way. He wants to create the great dynasty in his father's name. TIME FOR THE SECOND ARENA BATTLE. This will be tough!

General Tsao will have his shield up most of the time making it impossible to injure him, with your cane. Sly has to hit him ONLY WHEN HE IS VULNERABLE. There is a split-second moment when he raises his shield. Hit him and knock him backwards. Stay clear of his spin moves at all times. Walk around to his side and whack him when he starts to reset to use another move. When his health is down to 1/2, he'll conjure some black magic. JUMP AND CLIMB A TREE.

Wait for the zombie hands to disappear while up in a tree. Jump down and fight Tsao again. As soon as you hear the scream, jump to a tree again. Wait for the black magic to vanish. IF YOU'RE LUCKY AND STILL ALIVE, finish him off. THIS COMBAT WILL TAKE MANY MANY ATTEMPTS BEFORE YOU WIN. Eventually, he drops to the ground in defeat, but quickly disappears into the mist. JOB COMPLETE.

FIGHTING STRATEGY: After the 3-4 attempt, you'll get a good idea of Tsao's fighting move sequence and what it will take to successully injure him. The trick will be to stay alive and to minimize your injury to see the fight through to the end.
