Crypt Hack

Crypt Hack 1 Sly explains the mission. The crypt is in the basment of Contessa's re-education tower. Bentley has to first go down the passages and find the power battery. Once he has the battery, he can power-up and hack into the nearby terminals, to turn on the old terminal, way up in Contessa's lab. If he's successful, he'll be able to override the controls, and release Carmelita and shut-down the mind shuffler? Bentley's more worried about making it through this gauntlet alive!

Crypt Hack 2 The crypt has evil barbaric rolling security traps. There is no way to avoid the log traps, because there are spiked floors making it impossible to bypass. Watch the cycle of the logs as they roll. Pick a bare path along the stone floor. As the log passes, jump to another open spot on the floor. Wait for another log to pass and jump to avoid it. Once you clear the first room, take a breath and run down the connecting passageway to the next room. MORE LOG TRAPS!

Crypt Hack 3 Like the last room, jump over the log traps to open spots on the floor, as they spin past. Walk down the next passageway. The next room has swinging pendulum blades. YIKES! Wait for the blades to swing in sync, next to each other, then jump across the spikes to the open floor section. Whack all the nearby armor and barrels for coins and maybe a health power-up. Wait for the next set of blades to line-up as they swing. Jump across and run down the next passageway.

Crypt Hack 4 The last room has a large water pool. The only way across, is jumping over the small floating platforms. As Bentley approaches the water, a seprent tentacle rises up from the water and slaps the floor. UHOH? Jump across to the first floating pad before it strikes again. Another tentacle comes out from the water. DON'T STAND STILL! Jump from platform to platform over to the end of the pool to the steps. Go to the back wall. Grab the battery pack [Movie sequence begins].

Crypt Hack 5 Bentley grabs the battery pack. He thinks there is enough power to bring all the terminals in the crypt, to life. Bentley has to hack into 3 terminals. Go to the first terminal. As you hack inside, gameplay turns to the familiar video nano-game. In these mini-games, nano tanks are alot faster and THERE ARE MORE OF THEM! Run to the large open area and look for the exit, which is defended by 3 rows of bubble fencing. Fire away at the bubbles and pass through the circuits.

Crypt Hack 6 After the terminal is hacked, a [cut-away scene] shows one of the terminal posts turning and lighting up, in Contessa's lab. Backtrack through the rooms of the crypt and find the second terminal. YOU CANNOT DAMAGE THE BATTERY PACK while making your way to the next terminal. You have to be squeaky clean through the moving logs and pendulum blades. Hack into the terminal and beat the mini nano-game.

Crypt Hack 7 Carefully work your way back through the security traps. Find the 3rd and last terminal by the entrance. This mini-game will be tough. There are lots of nano-tanks homing-in on you while you try to blast away at the bubble fencing. Once inside the curcuits, watch-out for the large battleship waiting for you. Chip away at the body of the battleship and blow it up. Find the hub portal and unlock the terminal. JOB COMPLETE.
