Sly's next mission is located deep inside Contessa's stronghold. Bentley has located an old cemetery and crypt. Inside that crypt there's a coffin. Bentley wants Sly to go inside and bash the coffin, freeing the ghosts. Once the ghosts are free and roaming around the skies, haunting the town, Sly has to photograph each ghost (which in fact will capture it). Once all 9 ghosts are captured, he's to return to Neyla's HQ. and scare the heck out of her. Sounds like fun!

Inside the crypt is a spooky place. More like a torture chamber? The floor is booby-trapped with sword spikes. You can't walk across the floor without taking MAJOR INJURY. Dead ahead are swinging pendulum swords. There are 2 approaches.. You can wait for the pendulums to swing away and jump past, or look for the blue sparkle lights along the sword shafts and jump to the swords then to safety. Walk in the open sections of the floor then down the passageway.

At the end of the passgeway is a ceremonial chamber. There's a coffin siting in the middle of the room. There are several werewolf guards sleeping around the room. As you approach the coffin, the werewolf guards wake up! ALL HECK WILL BREAK LOOSE! You're going to have to fight all of them at once. Best defense is your high voltage attack [L1] and tornado cane [hold down circle]. Watch for the mini spider bombs that hatch from the barrels. Clear the room.

After you're done, regain your strength first. Whack all the nearby furniture and barrels for coins and maybe a health power-up. Go up and whack away at the coffin. Eventually it will crack and break open. [Movie sequence begins]. Several white ghost spirits rise from the coffin and swirl around the room. They howl and leave through the walls. Work your way back out of the crypt.

Back out in town, Bentley breaks-in and explains the 2nd phase of the assignment. Bentley has reconfigured Sly's binocucam to record and capture the ghosts. They'll be held temporarily in a stasis jar, until Sly can return to Neyla's HQ. Load the binocucam [R3] and find the blue target searchlights of the wandering ghosts. Track down one. Find a nearby vantage point and look for the white silohette to appear. Zoom in with the binocucam camera [R3] and snap a picture.

Capturing a ghost in the camera is NOT EASY! They move constantly and fly in and out of buildings. The camera will not take a picture if the view is obstructed by any wall or roof. YOU NEED A CLEAR SHOT. You also have to zoom-in to lock the frame, while moving the camera to track the ghost. Sly has to take 9 ghost pictures in all. The good news is you're not on a time schedule. While moving from location to location, make yourself useful and collect clue bottles and coins.

Collecting all 9 ghost photos will be a challenge and WILL TAKE TIME AND PATIENCE. Sly will have to roam all over town and climb towers to the highest points, to get the right camera angles. Once done, work your way back across the river (use the canal boat), and jump to the rooftop next to Neyla's HeadQuarters. The blue bullseye target will locate the chimney where you can deposit the stasis jar with the captured ghosts.

[Movie sequence begins] The ghosts howl inside Neyla's HQ as they're released. Neyla comes running out the front doors of her HQ. She's definitely shaken. She believes this is the work of Contessa and vows revenge. She's going to call-up more military tanks from Interpol and show this spider woman once and for all. JOB COMPLETE.
