This is Bentley's assignment. From the Hideout, jump down to the lower levels. Bentley only has his bombs as defense from the security. Bentley can't outrun any of the guards and because of his small size, is NO MATCH FOR A BIG FIGHT. This is the time to use Bentley's weapon upgrades. The remote bomb detonator works well here. I configured the remote bomb to [L2]. Point the target near a security guard. [L2] again will toss the bomb. [L2] will remote detonate the bomb.

WEAPON UPGRADES: If you've been good at collecting and accumulating coins, you can trade in your cash for fighting and weapons upgrades on THIEFNET. Sly, Bentley & Murray all have upgrades available depending on how much cash you have.

Bentley will have to walk A LONG WAY, to get to the assignment start point, located on top of a connecting bridge near Rajan's temple entrance. Because Bentley is so small and can't jump or use vines to climb, he has to take the long way using stairs and ramps. Security will be present around every corner. If you can, use a combination of sleeper darts [R1] & remote bombs [L2] to take down the guards one-by-one. Try not to attract any attention or you'll be ambushed.

Walk into the green Bentley aura on the bridge. On this assignment, Sly & Bentley devise a plan to lure Rajan out of his palace. He really likes to eat Indian watermelon. Bentley has spiked 3 watermelons with sleep juice, so if Bentley can get Rajan to the watermelon, he can pickpocket the 3 sets of blueprints from Rajan. To lure Rajan, Bentley is going to use sonic darts from his crossbow and shoot the darts ahead of Rajan. He'll come running when he hears the noise.

STAY WHERE YOU ARE ON THE BRIDGE. Shoot a sonic dart ahead of Rajan. If he's within hearing range, he'll come running to the point where the sonic dart explodes. Rajan is tagged with a green target searchlight, so you can see where he is. He'll look around for 3-4 seconds to see where's the noise is coming from. Shoot another sonic dart to advance his walk. STAY OUT OF SIGHT. Should he see you, the mission fails. Don't jump down til he's at the watermelon.

The watermelon is tagged with an orange searchlight, so you can steer Rajan to it. Once Rajan is right at the watermelon [Movie sequence begins] Rajan finds the watermelon and eats the whole thing. He collapses and falls asleep. NOW jump down from the bridge to the courtyard and run across to Rajan. DON'T WASTE ANY TIME! He only stays asleep for about 10 seconds. Walk up behind Rajan and pickpocket the 1st blueprint. Run away out of sight before he wakes up. Load the binocucam and find the next watermelon.

Run up the road to the high fountain courtyard. The next watermelon is on a nearby roof. Shoot a sonic dart near Rajan. He'll come through the tunnel. Shoot more sonic darts to bring him close to the river. When he's close, shoot a sonic dart on the roof. Rajan will jump to the roof. IF THERE IS SECURITY ON THE ROOF, you need to blow-up the security first. Use your remote bombs. Lead Rajan to the watermelon. When he falls asleep, jump down and grab the 2nd blueprint.

Load the binocucam [R3] and find the 3rd watermelon. Run to a safe location away from Rajan, and shoot sonic darts to lead him to the watermelon. IF RAJAN SHOULD SEE YOU, the mission fails, but you keep the blueprints you've already collected (a good thing). Once he eats the last watermelon, run down to the courtyard, sneak up and pickpocket the 3rd blueprint. [Movie sequence begins]. Rajan knows he's been robbed and runs off in a fit of rage. JOB COMPLETE.
