Sly and the gang have ventured deeper into the jungles of India in search of Rajan. He has the heart of Clockwerk in his possession and Sly is determined to get it back. Rajan's secret temple is home to his spice manufacturing empire. The pieces of Clockwerk's heart help to keep the machinery going 24 hours a day. Security is heavy here as well, with rhino guards and flame-throwing monkey guards just like in his fortress we just left. Our first mission is to get photos for Bentley.

Rajan's spice manufacturing operation is deep inside the mountain in abandonded and converted parts of the temple. Bentley explains that the only way into the temple is through a hidden drainpipe under the waterfalls. To get there, Sly has to cross the temple grounds past lots of security. Hide where you can on rooftops and on rock ledges. Look for an abandoned truck down by the waterfall. Walk along the cliff passageway to the drain pipe. Take care of the guards nearby.

Inside the temple caves, the wheels of industry are working away. Down below, a settling pond where the spice is harvested. Off to the left, security is standing guard. Unfortunately you have no choice but to fight. Walk along the passage, then along the wooden deck up to where the guards are patrolling. Watch the water buckets as the ropes carry water up to the second level. Jump in one of the buckets and ride up to the second floor. Jump out while under gun fire.

Backtrack along the upper catwalk. WATCH OUT FOR COBRAS HIDING IN THE BASKETS. Whack away as they rise out of their baskets. At the end of the catwalk, Bentley advises Sly about the rope vine. This one is slippery and Sly can slide down to the drainpipe opening in the wall. This will give Sly access to spice room.

Inside the next room, Bentley asks Sly to set-up for more photos. The first photo is up at the top of the ceiling and is Clockwerk's Heart. At least one half of it? Rajan has actually split the heart into 2 pieces to make it work even harder. This mechanical pump is being used to turn the spice grinder in another room, and has been working tirelessly 24 hours a day as if it were possessed. Somehow Sly and the gang are going to have to find a way to get at it.

The 2nd photo is the secret cave entrance. Bentley says he has no idea where that entrance is and where or how they can access that entrance from the outside. He's going to need all the blueprints to the temple and the factory areas to find out. To make matters more interesting, the entrance does not appear to be part of the temple? There may be an underground cave network that connects all the factory areas?

The 3rd photo is Rajan himself. He's been pacing inside this room for awhile and is talking to himself. He's worried about something? Not an easy picture to get. There are a couple of places where he'll stand still for a just a second or 2... long enough to snap a picture. Bentley is shocked to discover that Rajan has the other half of Clockwerk's heart on the end of a ceremonial spear and he's carrying it with him! Must be some sort of good luck charm, or he fears for the worst.

The 4th and final photo is the crane controls. The cable and winch are attached to the Clockwerk heart suspened from the ceiling. Sly will have to find the 2 guards that have the keys, when it's time to steal the heart back. Once done, leave the room and work your way back to the cave entrance then out to the waterfall. Run back along the grounds close to where the elephant is walking in circles. Go to the cliff, climb the vines and then the high pole, back to the HIDEOUT.

ALTERNATE RETURN: Sly can also use the rooftops to get back to the HIDEOUT (a little more dangerous). Look for the mushroom bounce pads to get on a roof. Fight and kill the local security then bounce to the next roof. Use the bounce pad at the end, by the tree trunk. You'll land by the door to the HIDEOUT. JOB COMPLETE.
