Lighthouse Break-In

Lighthouse Break-In 1 This mission is for Sly (at least the 1st part). Bentley knows the front doors to the lighthouse are locked from the inside. They have to get inside somehow. There's a hatch at the very top. Sly has to climb to the top of the lighthouse, go inside through the hatch, then work his way down to the front doors, where he can let Murray and Bentley in. Work your way across town and climb the battery silo. Paraglide across to the lighthouse base. Jump to the ice wall and climb.

Lighthouse Break-In 2 Use Sly's ice pick climbing move to navigate up the lighthouse. Follow the patches of ice as you climb up the outside of the lighthouse. As you approach the top, icicles form and drop from the overhead sill. AVOID BEING HIT BY AN ICICLE. They'll knock you off the wall, falling back to the bottom. Once you reach the top, whack the security guard off the balcony. Make note of the expensive vase to grab later (with the aura) and open the roof hatch. Jump down inside.

Lighthouse Break-In 3 Sly has to walk his way down the spiral wooden staircase to the bottom. THERE'S NO SHORTCUT. The open middle area is constantly being energized with electrcial shockwaves from the power generator at the bottom, so there is no way to jump or paraglide. Use your high voltage cane attack or silent obliteration power move to take care of the security along the way. If you're brave, you can just whack the security over the stair railings as they run up. EASY MONEY!

Lighthouse Break-In 4 There are other security traps down the spiral staircase, like spotlights and ledges to sneak across, but no other surprizes. At the end of the staircase, jump down to the floor. Walk to the front door and kick away the chair. Bentley and Murray run inside. Bentley knows where the power coupling is, and tells Sly he has to go back up top and short the power collector, so they can cross the polarity of the battery charger. The route back up to the top, is a dangerous one.

Lighthouse Break-In 5 From the end of the stairway ramp, jump across to the top of the battery charger. IT'S STILL ENERGIZED! Sly has to climb the power cables to the very top. Each power cable will create an energy pulse as the battery charger cycles. 2 cables will pulse at a time. Jump and climb the power cable that is dormant for that cycle. WATCH FOR THE 2 RED ENERGY ARCS AT THE BOTTOM, which will tell you what cable to jump to next (avoid being zapped). YOU'RE ON A TIMER!

Lighthouse Break-In 6 Near the top of the cable, Sly can jump to the wooden staircase and run up the rest of the way. There are a few security ducks patrolling, but nothing you can't take care of. Up top turn off the power switch. [Movie sequence begins] Down below, the battery charger starts to glow and explodes from its frame. Bentley and Murray run out through the front door as it short-circuits and dies. Sly can climb up the ladder out the hatch to the top of the lighthouse. JOB COMPLETE.
