Blimp HQ Recon

Blimp HQ Recon 1 Welcome to Arpeggio's world. We are high above the ground, floating in the clouds. This entire mission is carried out on what I've called the space station. All the sections of Arpeggio's world are CONNECTED BY CATWALK RAMPS. Getting to the 1st assignment post, took awhile. Before venturing too far, look around and map out your route. The security guards patrolling here are tougher than before. Make your way up to the top of the station and across to the remote pod.

Blimp HQ Recon 2 Bentley breaks-in and tells Sly that this remote blimp is the main control center. Sly needs to get inside and take some recon photos so they know what they're up against. Bentley warns that he's detecting a massive energy build-up. Sly says not to worry. Shimy up the nearby docking cable (blue sparkle lights) all the way to the top. Use Sly's para-glider and soar across to the wing of the blimp. Shimy up the drainpipe and crawl inside through the vent.

Blimp HQ Recon 3 Inside the blimp, SHOCKING DEVELOPMENTS! Arpeggio has already assembled Clockwerk and has the massive bird suspended from cables, just waiting to be powered-up. Bentley is frantic. He had no idea Arpeggio could do this so fast? He needs to think up a plan fast! Recon photos are going to be crictial. The patrolling secuirty is tight and there's not much room to move without being detected. Quickly, climb the nearby archway piping and spire jump to the top. STAY PUT!

Blimp HQ Recon 4 Load your binocucam [R3]. The 1st recon photo is one of the rotating electro-platforms. There are 4 of them orbiting around the inner frame of the blimp. Taking a photo of one of them is going to be a challenge. They move pretty fast! Bentley thinks these power platforms are being charged-up by magnetos, and look to be at full power (watch for the blue electrical arcs). He believes it won't be long before Arpeggio tries to use them to start-up Clockwerk.

Blimp HQ Recon 5 The 2nd photo is Clockwerk (from the front). To get to the photo vantage point will take some doing. From the top of the archway, watch the patrol cycle of the security guard. As he comes up the stairs towards you, jump and para-glide over top of him down to the main platform. Watch the searchlights of the other patrolling guards. AVOID DETECTION and STAY IN THE SHADOWS! Climb up the far archway piping and ninja spire jump to the top point. Zoom-in and snap the picture.

Blimp HQ Recon 6 The 3rd photo is the Clockwerk Eggs. They are inside a shielded room at the far end of the blimb (where we were before). Make your way back acroos the platfom. Climb the piping of the archway at the base of the stairs. Wait for the guard to walk DOWN THE STAIRS and pass below you. Jump and run up the stairs. At the top of the stairs, zoom-in on the frosted glass and quickly snap the photo. Bentley tells Sly that these eggs are radiocative and could be very dangerous.

Blimp HQ Recon 7 Bentley is detecting movement in the far room, at the front of the blimp. He wants Sly to go get more photos. Work your way across to the front of the blimp. AVOID THE SECURITY GUARDS. Run up the stairs to the glass doors. Sly won't be detected if he stays hidden behind the frosted glass. The 4th photo is Arpeggio himself. He's sitting inside his perch. Load the binocucam and zoom-in through the frosted glass doors.

Blimp HQ Recon 8 The last photo is Captain Neyla! WHAT IS SHE DOING HERE? Bentley is very surprised. He's now convinced that Neyla is a secret member of the Klaww gang and she's part of this whole scheme from the very start. But what is she doing here? and how is she connected to Arpeggio? What are their plans for Clockwerk? It's all a mystery.

Blimp HQ Recon 9 Sly and Bentley are not going to wait and see what happens with Arpeggio and Neyla. They believe the best thing they can do right now, is to reverse the polarity of the power supply from each of the 4 magneto platforms. This SHOULD demagnetize Clockwerk and blow him apart into several useless pieces. To get access to the 4 magneto platforms, Sly will FIRST have to pickpocket 4 engine keys from the patrolling guards, to unlock the power supply control panel.

Blimp HQ Recon 10 Sneaking around the guards is trickey. 3 of the guards are patrolling in a small restricted area. Searchlights cover a large area and there's not much room to sneak around. Run down the stairs. One guard is standing still watching the archway. Jump to the left (in the shadows) and climb up the piping to the top of the archway (where we took the Clockwerk photo). Jump down behind the guard. Pickpocket his key. Once the other guards walk away, use the silent obliteration move.

Blimp HQ Recon 11 It will make things alot easier moving around undetected, if you take down each guard, after you pickpocket his engine key. If you need to, look for the blue sparkle lights under the tables, and duck for cover as a guard passes by. Jump out and sneak up behind him. Wait for the guard to be alone. Once you have all 4 engine keys, find the circular power bounce pad on the main platform. Jump to the pad and bounce to the small platform on the blimp frame. Unlock the power panel.

Blimp HQ Recon 12 NOW COMES THE TOUGH PART. Sly has to get to each one of the magento power platforms and turnover each power switch. Jump to a nearby suspension guidewire and shimy up to the very top. WATCH AND WAIT FOR A PLATFORM to zoom by. As a platfrom access deck becomes visible, paraglide over. Quickly turn the switch and jump to the platform below or to a nearby guidewire. The platform electrical arc will change color to red (reminding you its been changed).

Blimp HQ Recon 14 Make your way along the guidewires over Clockwerk and disable all 4 power magentos. [Movie sequence begins]. Clockwerk starts to fall and crumble from the guidewires, BUT DOESN'T BREAK APART? The Clockwerk Eyes start to glow red-hot! Arpeggio and Neyla are alerted by the crash, and run out from the front room. At the bottom of the ramp, they confront SLY. Arpeggio is confused but very happy at the results.

Blimp HQ Recon 15 [Movie sequence continues] It appears that what Sly thought was going to be destruction, actually HAD THE REVERSE EFFECT, activating Clockwerk? Arpeggio is delighted that he can now go forward with his plan to turn the world to hate. Neyla gets into the discussion and knocks over Arpeggio in his cage. Neyla wants Clockwerk for herself and was behind the whole scheme from the start! NEYLA RUNS INSIDE CLOCKWERK. She flies out from the blimp. JOB COMPLETE.
