Deep inside Ruby's kingdom, there's a haunted area littered with tombstones. Bentley warns Sly right away, about high energy levels of paranormal activity.

Bust down the gate covered with tree vines using Sly's cane. Watch out for the blue ghost spirit, hovering in from the end of the tunnel. Whack him with your cane. Slide down the first vine. About half-way, jump to the island pedestal. If you can't quite do this, remember that clue 1 is on top of the small island. You'll need ALL 40 clues to unlock the vault, so you can get it now or later. Slide to the end of the vine, picking up the coins along the way. Walk up to the tree monster.

You've seen this enemy before back in the Swamp Patch. When you walk up close and wake the tree monster, whack him with Sly's cane, and he'll break apart into 2 pieces. Whack each piece as they approach. Pick up the coins, collect clue 2 & 3 nearby, and break the next gate covered with tree vines. As you walk down the path, more blue ghost spirits rise from a small gravestone at the end. Whack them with Sly's cane while you're walking towards the gravetone. The spirits disappear, once you destroy the gravestone.

Up ahead, collect clues 4, 5 & 6 and then take care of the sleeping tree monster. Using the hook move with Sly's cane, to swing across the tree branch to the next path. Let the save camera take your picture. Whack the next gate and then the small safe for clue 7 & 8. Fight you way across and jump across into the mouth of the wooden alligator statue. Collect clue 9 on the right. As you approach the gate, watch for blue ghost spirits attacking from inside the tunnel.

Fight your way through the tunnel, then whack the tombstone at the edge of the platform. Turn around and grab clue 10 along the left wall. Dead ahead, down below, is a voodoo ceremonial chamber. The only way to get there is jumping across the spires of the tiki torches. Watch the flames of the tiki torches. As they blow-out, watch for the blue spark revealing a spire jump point. Jump across the torches as each flame burns out, then jump down to the circular floor.

As you land on the floor, several blue ghost spirits start to attack right away. Look for 3 nearby gravetsones and whack them all as you take care of the ghosts hovering around. When the coast is clear, go to the left and collect clues 11, 12 & 13. Jump on the tiki drum and hug the column on the left, up top (with the blue sparks). Sneak around the back of the column to the catwalk. Whack the small safe and collect clues 14 & 15. Sneak around the back of the far column and collect clues 16, 17 & 18.

Walk back across the catwalk, sneak around the column and jump to the far catwalk. Pick-up the free life. At the end of the catwalk, watch the rotating columns and the security lasers. Sneak around the column, avoiding the lasers to the next catwalk section. Go to the next rotating column and again sneak around to the teeter platform at the back. AVOID contact with the lasers. If Sly touches one, the alarm will sound and the lasers will turn red hot, turning deadly.

From the wobbly platform, jump to the rope with the firepot and climb up to the top. Jump to the upper platform and whack the alarm sentry
(just in case). Walk across the beams to the next platform, then across to the round firepot/candle chandelier. Collect clues 19 & 20 around the chandelier ring, then jump to the closest rope. Climb to the top of the rope then jump to the next rope. Repeat 3 times, then jump to the
cave and let the camera flash for your save point.

Take down the tree monster inside the cave, then the mutant mosquito, as Sly enters the forest. Pick-up clue 21 next to the fence on the right. Go to the left and tenderly walk across the narrow root to the head of the alligator. Walk between the eyes and collect clues 21, 23 & 24. Walk back across the root to the cave area. Walk down the path to the next set of tiki torches and watch the flames go on/off revealing the blue spire sparks. Jump across to the next ledge.

Collect clues 25 & 26 on the ledge then jump to the branch pods. Watch for the blue ghost spirits coming from a gravestone on the far side. Jump across the pods, taking down the spirits as they get close. Jump to the last pod and whack the gravestone. NOW go back and collect clues 27, 28 & 29 on the far right pod. Jump to the far ledge and whack the small safe on the left for clues 30 & 31. Watch for 3 mutant mosquitos as you walk up the slope to the next root vine.

Look for the voodoo skull on top of a pole next to the vine. Behind the pole next to a tree root, collect clue 32. Walk across the beam to the far side. Along the way, more blue ghost spirits start to attack. Whack away while walking across the beam and take down the gravestone at the end. Collect clues 33, 34 & 35 then walk across the next beam. You can see the glass case holding the secret key. DON'T COLLECT THE KEY JUST YET!! There's still more clues and the secret vault.

Walk behind the glass case and collect clue 36 hiding behind a tree root. Walk across the ledge and whack the gate covered with tree roots. Walk down past the secret vault. Smash the 2 small safes at the end of the path for clues 37, 28, 39 & 40. Now walk up to the secret vault and wait for Bentley's instructions.

Bentley breaks-in and gives Sly the vault combination 1-2-8. Opening the vault gives Bentley the co-ordinates of all the clues and breakable objects in every stage of Ruby's hideout. He downloads this data to Sly's binocucom. Walk back along the path and whack the case holding the secret key. LEVEL ENDS.
