Spyro and Sparx venture out past the arches to a series of small pedestal islands. Off in the distance is an airship that's suspended in the clouds. Jump across the islands. On the last island before getting on the boat, look for the pottery urns and smash them for gems. MAKE SURE you're powered up as far as you can go. Once you're on the boat, there's no turning back. AND... it's a trap (but you have no choice).

The airship starts to float away from the island. YOU'RE TRAPPED. Welcome to an arena battle. Wait for the first wave of natives to run out from either end. Change to your electricity breath. The trick here is to knock your enemies around to break the fence and then knock them off the boat. The fire breath will work but it WON'T knock them off the boat. It's important to keep your spirit power as high as possible for the onslaught of enemies that's coming.

There are 4 waves of smaller natives that you can toss around and knock off the boat fairly easily. The next wave of larger warriors come out 2 at a time. You can change tactics here. Flame them both first to get them glowing red and paralyzed, then quickly switch over to the electricity breath and push one over the edge with your sparks. Wait to collect the gems and go after the 2nd warrior. WATCH YOUR SPIRIT METER. Don't run out of power.

If your power meter is down, go ahead and fire attack and melee combo one warrior to collect his gems right away. There are 6 larger warriors in all to take down. Once complete, 3 really large warrior leaders come out. 2 come out right away. I flamed them first, then used my Spark Fury [R2] to take a huge bite out of them. After the lightning bolts were over, I got behind one of them and pushed him off the boat. The 2nd one I took down with fire & melee combos.
STRATEGY HINT: I chose the Spark Fury over the Fire Fury for 2 reasons.
1) The Spark Fury pushes the enemies away from you and spreads them far apart.
2) The Spark Fury keeps the enemies off balance and paralyzed a second longer.
I do admit though... the Fire Fury does more damage initially, but at close range.

Once you're down to one warrior leader, the fight is just a matter of who wins first. Spark him repeatedly until he either falls off the edge of the boat or until you can melee combo him into submission. The deck of the boat, will burst into flames, when you're close to finished. Once done, the boat miraculously flies in close to an island where you can jump off. JOB DONE!!
