As Spyro walks across the long suspension bridge over to the temple, there is an eerie sense of being watched. [movie sequence begins] Cynder is seen flying away from the island. Spyro wonders if she has another power crystal? He knows he will be meeting up with her soon. Walk onto the island and up the steps to the courtyard to the temple. It looks awfully quiet. The Stone Sentinel wakes up and stands up. HE'S BIG!

This is another arena batle. The Sentinel may be big but he does have his weaknesses. Before you engage in the fight, make sure you are leveled UP as far as you can on your fire breath and fire bomb. Hopefully you also have your Fire Fury fully loaded [R2]. First option is to toss 2-3 fire bombs right at him. Watch his health bar in the upper right hand corner. While he's glowing red from the fire shock, run underneath his legs and head butt and tail whack him a few times.

The Stone Sentinel has a hard time finding you from underneath his legs. STAY UNDER HIS LEGS IF YOU CAN. Flame him a few times and melee combo his legs and feet as many times as you can. Watch out that the Sentinel doesn't stomp hard on you, while he's trying to break away. Spyro will have to run away once or twice to load up on spirit power. There are lots of spirit crystals around the arena. The Sentinel will start to spin his arms and pound the ground.

Once he stops pounding his arms into the ground, sneak around the back of him and fire 2-3 more fire bombs. If you want, you can use your Fire or Electic Fury to take a big bite out of his health. Both are effective. Once his health is nearly at zero, continue with the melee attacks and fire breath. He eventually gets woozy and falls over in defeat. Soak up all the nearby gems that are left behind. JOB DONE!

[movie sequence begins] Kane congratulates Spyro and Sparx for a job well done. Cyril has been freed and is forever thankful... Strange thing though... Alll the natives are bowing to Spyro and Sparx like they are gods. Sparx is quite impressed and is definitely trying to milk it for all its worth. He wants to stay here! BUT.. It's time to get back to the dragon temple. Cyril urgently needs to talk to Ignitus and Volteer.
