[movie sequence begins] Spyro and Sparx meet up with a local named Octavio. He is a Manweersmall and works in the mines. He's an expert guide for this place.

Octavio is in a bind and needs a favor. Some of his fellow workers are being held hostage by the local trolls, (all because Cynder is now in charge). He's worried about their welfare, and asks Spyro to help set them free. In return Octavio will show them where Cynder is hiding Terrador. Sounds like a deal. To free a Manweersmall, all Spyro has to do, is go up to the nearby crystal harness and break it with a good head butt. The miner will then disappear to safety.

The Manweersmalls look like little table lamps. They are not very big. The crystal they are chained to, is also tiny. It would be easy to miss them. There are 6 in all to find and rescue. Free the first Manweersmall right down the path. Up ahead are a few sleeping trolls. Toss a few firebombs then go down and fight them head-on. Collect their gems and break the spirit crystals along the way. Soon, Spyro comes up to a series of doors. Smash them all.

This whole area is like a maze. The more doors you break open, the more tunnels you'll find. To make things a little scary, there is not much light down here. Sparx will be your flashlight for many of the tunnels. Of course, you're going to run into trolls where ever you go, and fireflies will be out buzzing around. Keep alert and take care of any creatures that start to move in the dark. For the most part fire breath (at maxiumum power) was the best approach.

The photo on the left shows 2 Manweersmalls. As you can see, they are not that easy to spot. Busting up all the local machinery or hardware is fun, but doesn't give up any gems. Go explore all the tunnels and free all the Manweersmalls. Once done [movie sequence begins]. Spyro's in a room with Octavio, and he is thankful for his work. In return, Octavio shows them the doorway that leads to finding Terrador. Bust open the door and go into the factory caves.
