[movie sequence begins] After defeating the Dreadwings in a hard fought battle, Spyro and Sparx try to find a way out. Next to the bridge, they find a small tunnel in the ice. They follow the tunnel to the end and come out inside a cave.

Just what we want... More trouble! 8 trolls are waiting for you and come running into the cave. Save your Fire Fury if you didn't use it on the Dreadwings. Pick away at the enemies one by one and gather up as much strength as you can... I would even let myself by killed (just for the heck of it). You will regenerate here and have all your powers restored to full strength... (ah yes a hint!!) It is very important that you now Level UP your fire ball as far as you can.

Walk down the tunnel and be prepared for a boss fight. Meet the Ice King. He's been keeping watch over Volteer who is being held hostage on an upper ledge nearby. We're going to have to get past him to free Volteer. He has a very long health meter as you can see. You can beat it down quite quickly, but he comes back to life 3 times before it's all over. The best word of advice here, is to conserve your spirit power. Use it efficiently and in close range.

Open the fight with a few fireballs at close range. Get him glowing red and land a few mid-air melee combos. Stay around his backside if you can. Flame him a few more times then melee combo again. Keep this up until he falls to one knee. When he gets back up go into Fire Fury [R2] if you have it. This will suck the life out of him. If not, repeat the steady flaming and the melee attacks coming. Hopefully you won't run out of spirit energy just yet.

The 3rd and final round, use the same tactics, but stay away from his ice shield and ice hammer. They will give a lethal blow.
NOTE: Should you die here, you come right back to this arena battle, and your enemy is still a little worn down (some loss of poisition but not reset to the beginning). After it's all over, he vaporizes and you can go rescue Volteer. [movie begins]

Volteer awakes from a deep sleep and has no idea where he is. He is amazed to see Spyro. The legendary purple dragon does exist! He is so delighted to meet him. Spyro and Sparx remind him that he is to return to the Dragon Temple at once. He remembers Ignitus and agrees that they should return before Cynder gets a chance to forge another power crystal.
